Miami-Dade officer William Weaver fakes NG deployment
According to the Miami Herald former Miami-Dade police officer William Weaver forged travel orders to fake a deployment with his Florida National Guard unit in order to bilk the department out of a few hundred bucks. The problem was that he had been discharged nearly three years before the incident and it looks like he used his National Guard girlfriend’s deployment orders for the forgery.
Miami-Dade police, which let Weaver go last year, didn’t release his arrest affidavit. But his arrest warrant, signed by a Miami-Dade circuit judge, tells the story of a former agricultural patrol cop who misled his employer and the mother of his child to steal $2,253.98 from the police department.
According to his arrest affidavit, Weaver submitted false training orders saying he was attending out-of-town events in El Paso, Texas, which allowed him to get paid for an additional 62 hours of police work.
His scam was uncovered, police said, when his lieutenant at the Miami-Dade Police Department discovered a discrepancy in a form and contacted one of Weaver’s military supervisors. The military supervisor said the officer’s claims were not legitimate.
I guess they never figure anyone is gong to check.

Florida-man strikes again!
I’m only guessing, but a “agricultural patrol cop” must fill a real need if your orange and lime groves are being picked clean by the crowd at the illegal cantina who came to watch a cockfight.
Professional melon squeezers.
Dogfight, Claw, dogfight and it’s a serious problem in Dade County.
As often as Dade County gets news, what “isn’t” a problem in Dade county?
The name comes from a geographic region of Miami Dade. A patrol beat. Not a specific law enforcement function.
That’s Bullshit, He Who Shall Not Be Named.
Google it up, you might learn something.
I googled it. I stand corrected. I had heard the term associated with Miami Dade before and in that context understood it to be the rural beat for Miami Dade county.
BUT, the thing, you didn’t qualify any of what you wrote. You wrote three statements, none of which was true. But for being challenged, you would not have bothered to use Google and would have been quite content, if not smug, with assertions of fact that were patently false. Think about it, Lars. You do the same thing in other arenas but, in some of them, your authority is what some pointy-head taught you.
“The name comes from a geographic region of Miami Dade. A patrol beat. Not a specific law enforcement function.”
Wrong with the first line. Wrong with the second line. Wring with the third line. Aside from those, the rest of what you wrote was on the mark. Nice job, Lars.
Yeah, I should have learned from your example yesterday and checked my facts before spouting off.
Better look at that thread again, Lars. Or do you think that your racism rant ended it?
You need to look at the thread. I verified he was there in the cruise logs and another poster linked that the last survivor of the crew verified his account.
I never disputed that he was a member of the crew, brainiac. My sole issue is with his self-declared hero status. The more I read about him and the more I read from him, the more convinced I am that he is just another embellisher. As for the other account, it’s not worth a plug nickle. It was probably written by an aide to the politician who worked (she says) two years to right the wrong done Clark.
Hope it was worth it.
NINE DAMNED YEARS on the job in LE and he decides to waste it all in conning his employer out of a few thousand dollars. I hope his Department decides to prosecute FORMER Miami-Dade police officer William Weaver, WHAT A limp-dicked DUMBASS.
“…a former agricultural patrol cop who misled his employer and the mother of his child to steal $2,253.98 from the police department.” (emphasis added)
William Weaver lies to the mother of his child.
Therefore:
William Weaver is a lowdown scumbag.
William Weaver is a shame to his child.
William Weaver is a disgrace to servicemen, LEOs, and fathers everywhere.
William Weaver needs to be put in General Population in the slammer.
William Weaver is a selfish, greedy, stupid creep.
Wow…talk about walking over dollars to pick up dimes…
He went to plaid!
“Ludicrous speed, GO!”
Sir, shouldn’t you buckle up first?
About time for another bad gurl…it’s a sausage fest lately.
Damn – Bad Cop Monday at TAH. Two ex-cops doing some shady stuff to earn a trip to the local poundthemintheass prison and the “all they will eat” buffet at the BTJT Deli (home of the WORLD FAMOUS cockmeat sammich and ghey whey shake).
El Paso, huh?
Not like the previous fella that deployed to that combat zone in Guam?
Fort Bliss is in Chucotown, so if he had any ties to Air Defense Artillery, it wouldn’t be entirely illogical. (I was at Bliss back when the 3rd ACR was still there 90-92)
Cue the time machine.
I was at Bliss when the 3rd ACR moved there from Fort Lewis.
The year: 1972
Brave Rifles!
Well, at least he didn’t claim to be a Ranger or a Seal? No Harley, bling vest, service dog, sun glasses, picture with the hundred yard stare, and worst of all, no doo rag! This ass hamster isn’t even trying, phuck him!!
reminds me of a guy who got a 14 year sentence in El Paso many years ago for ripping off a charity for whom he was their accountant – believe it worked out to about $1500/year. Doesn’t seem like a very good trade-off to me.
What really sucks is that he just screwed over every honest NG or reserve member of that department. Supervisors are going to be requesting orders for everything.
We had a jackass do something similar about 6 years ago or so. He came up with an excuse good enough that allowed him to miss AT (annual training) but still took the time off work. Basically he got a free 2-week vacation. He got caught when the dipshit decided to go throw back some cold ones at the bar his supervisor’s husband owned. Karma hit hard from both sides, because he got fired from his civilian job and busted down to E-1 on the Army side.
Ahhh, that Karma. She can be a bitch!
Aaaaah sweet. SWEET Karma! 😀
Who knows for sure?
My best guess is that he faked leave/deployment time to roll over to Merritt Island, Florida to partake of some OJT at All-Points Logistics.
A lifetime of a police pension pissed away for $2,253.98. In the end, he saved the taxpayers a boat load of cash.
