Phony spy at Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security
Chief Tango sends us a link to the Washington Post that details the antics of 72-year-old Mark W. Levin, a member of the staff at Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security — a school that offers graduate programs in intelligence and national security to about 40 students.
The victims allege that Levin led them to believe he was an agent of an unnamed clandestine agency involved in counter-terrorism and intelligence gathering; that the young men were his “recruits”; and that they had to engage in naked, physical inspections with him at his apartment as part of jobs and career training — and keep silent about it.
The men, who are given pseudonyms in the lawsuit, claim Levin subjected them to “quid pro quo sexual harassment,” which included “repeated, forced, invasive, deceptive, and humiliating touching and probing of their naked bodies and genitals.”
I wonder what was their first clue.
Last week, the school’s executive director, Linda Millis, a former official with the NSA, CIA and Office of the Director of National Intelligence, resigned over the school’s treatment of the victims.
“I was surprised to learn that Mark Levin had been hired without sufficient due diligence and that no one really knew much about his background,” Millis told the Post.
Joseph DeTrani, the school’s president, said he, too, is leaving at the end of the month, but that his departure has nothing to do with the sex abuse allegations. DeTrani said Levin was already working at the school when he arrived in January 2016.
“Obviously, [Levin] conned these young men into believing he was something he was not,” DeTrani said in an interview. “That’s so tragic. We empathize with the students.”
The school is about three years old and is presently seeking accreditation. Well, they were before these students filed a lawsuit against the school for these things that Levin did, but there are no criminal charges pending against Levin – only the lawsuit against the school.

Is it possible that this was cooked up in a bath house and they are all in it for cash? A nasty conspiracy that no one wants to talk about. By the time everybody signs non-disclosure agreements— the instructor sues for wrongful termination and the witnesses can’t testify.
Is it possible? Yes, and it’s likely.

I can’t tell when these guys played naked Twister with this guy but the three who sued are in their mid to late twenties. These weren’t kids by anyone’s definition. Perhaps someone has been watching too many episodes of ” The Americans” on FX.
Its actually a pretty interesting show about a couple of Russian Agents who thoroughly indoctrinated in the ways of the US and infiltrated as a married couple with perfect documents.
They operate a travel agency in Alexandria Va as a cover and have two teen age children. Setting is the late 70s early 80s.
They work through codes with KGB and Russian embassy to get secrets and carry out various operations.
The way that this ties in with this thread is that it shows flashbacks to their training in Russia.
They were indoctrinated in doing all kinds of sex acts, straight, gay, B&D. All to be used in the field to lure targets in for blackmail or assaisination.

I was a kid once too, but this represents a level of stupid beyond youthful age…a course where the professor plays with your nut sack for hours to represent some aspect of the spy business?
If you are touching my nut sack and you are not my wife, not my doctor checking for a hernia or tumor you are most likely getting a beating…as far as “invasive” inspections go, my urologist checking my prostate and my oncologist checking my colon are the only ones thus far to have entered the exit ramp…what is wrong with people today? A relative of mine mentioned this is no surprise to her. She checked that school out a year and a half ago and walked away because (as she put it) – “That place is sketchy as fuck”.

Most NSS programs have former clandestine types as instructors.
Said instructors are part of a very small community.
Once you’ve had one of them as an instructor, there are frequent ‘six degrees of separation’ moments with other current and former clandestine types.

Not sure what Linda Millis was doing heading a so-called National Security school. She was a CIA analyst (most likely worked in the directorate where analysis is done, not the Directorate of Operations) and therefore was not in a position to have an impact on clandestine anything. NSA specializes in technical intelligence gathering, they don’t run around running or recruiting agents or engaging in counterintelligence operations. ODNI is purely an analytic agency, they don’t do operations or intelligence gathering of any kind and rely on CIA, NSA, FBI, DIA, etc. collection arms.
I can only assume she thumps her CIA credentials as a means to make a quick buck because the uninitiated don’t differentiate between different officer career paths and simply assume that everybody as CIA is a DO person.
