Tuesday morning feel good stories
A homeowner in Dallas, Texas, found an intruder in his home. There was an exchange of gunfire and the homeowner escaped from the home and locked the criminal inside. When the police got there, they found the intruder DRT (dead right there).
In Watonga, Oklahoma, a homeowner fought off two armed thieves by taking their gun away from one of them and hitting one of the criminals with it.
Several criminals broke into a home in Lubbock, Texas and began beating the man that lived there. His brother heard the commotion, and took a gun to the scene, shooting one of the criminals while the other escaped. The brothers held the wounded man until police arrived and took him to the hospital where he’s expected to recover.

Stupid thug. He went to all the trouble of breaking into a home and all he got was DEAD. There isn’t much future in facing a law abiding citizen who is armed.
One home run, one walk off double and one strikeout.
At least all the victims are alive and in good repair.
Remember, the Second Amendment only reaffirms YOUR God Given Right to self defense from any and all comers…
All of them, foreign and domestic…
I want to thank all those here that voted to make this right solidly engrained in the American psyche. There is no doubt in my mind that had Trump not won, we would be kissing this right goodbye.
See, your vote does count and Merry Christmas to all of you grizzled, crusty old bastards !!!
Merry Christmas to you, too, TStixx!
Thunder: Back atcha from this grizzled, crusty old bastard. Wishing the same to all others here, grizzled, crusty and old or not.
It is a Merry Christmas – we have a reprieve in the battle for the Constitution and our God-given rights. The war is not yet won, but hopefully the tide of war has turned in favor of the good guys.
From one grizzled, crusty old man to all the TAH’s here: Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Watonga, OK is only 90 miles and two counties away from Perry, OK, home to the little fefe-forker who is still looking for a shine box and cash money for a pre-stamped envelope. Plus maybe money for a grubstake in the next youngman rodeo. You don’t suppose? Naw….
But on a brighter note: Listen up, Heavy Chevy.
Watonga has a cheese festival every October, so there’s an opportunity to put your latest police auction automobile on a Texas to Oklahoma road trip.
In the Dallas incident: “The victim was able to escape the home and lock the man inside the home, according to police.”
How do you lock someone inside a house where they cannot get out? Not a house I want to live in if someone can lock me in…
Sounds to me that the reason the perp couldn’t get out was because he was mortally wounded/dead, not because the door was locked.
You can get locks that require a key on both the inside and the outside. This makes burglary more difficult as you can’t take large items out of the door.
A double-sided dead bolt is more often used when there is glass in the door. Most all commercial doors have double-sided locks also.
I just love a happy ending!!!
