Friday morning feel good stories

| July 22, 2016

In San Antonio, Texas, an intruder broke the doorknob off while he was breaking into an elderly couple’s home – the 70-year-old put one round center mass. The criminal was DRT (dead right there) when police arrived.

In Frederick County, Virginia, a fellow was not welcomed in an apartment complex and the residents tried to remove him. When the police arrived, the unwelcomed fellow ran around back to another apartment. By the time the police caught up to him, he was DRT (dead right there).

A homeowner in Concord, California caught two fellows burglarizing his home. He confronted one of the thieves who fled. The encounter was punctuated with a gun shot from the homeowner. The police caught up to him and he claimed that he had been wounded in the exchange, but his injured hand actually resulted when he was scurrying over the homeowner’s fence to escape the fusillade.

A Palmer, Alaska homeowner suffered a minor bullet wound in an exchange with burglars he found on his property. He was not sure if he wounded either of the thieves with his answering gunfire.

I just love a Friday that starts with two home runs!!! Keep up the good work!

Messing with the lives and goods of Homeowners is not recommended. This morning we see two dead and a few others who filled their pants when the homeowner didn’t give in to their demands.

Don’t mess with old people. They don’t have the energy to play with you, they’d just as soon shoot you.

Don’t mess with Texas. Don’t mess with old people from Texas. Don’t mess with old vets from Texas.

This occurred about 2 miles from the CS Chamber. Been seeing these mid-day home invasions slowly getting closer. Good to see that the outer defensive perimeter is manned by good shooters…

Frederick County, VA story in the link says in hospital, critical injuries, not DRT. May still get a DOT, but not yet indicated anywhere that I can find.

Hey, reputedly that happens sometimes (smile):

From the site:

Authorities in Virginia are investigating a home invasion that they say ended in a shooting

Deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Klines Mill road around 4.A.M Thursday for reports of and unwanted man in on someone’s porch.

I wonder how much work it would take to sneak someone in there to convert him from “critical injuries” to “DOT”? Wouldn’t be difficult, and I’m sure any guards can be convinced to take an extended coffee or bathroom break.

Word in San Antonio is that he was DBHG (Dead Before he Hit the Ground). Muscle memory is a good thing. He had 60 years of practice.

DBHG – I like it. It’s a good goal to aim for.

I like that. Another “D” acronym to add to the TAH lexicon. DOT, DRT, now DBHG.
