Thursday morning feel good stories
Bobo sends us our first story again this morning – it comes from St Louis, Missouri. Ryan Charlton tells how a fellow came into his shop and tried to sell him parts from red Mini Cooper. Ryan suspected that it was stolen, so he contacted police and held the thief at gun point in his office until the police arrived and took the crook off to jail.
A homeowner confronted an intruder in his Balch Springs, Texas home. He ended up shooting at the intruder who fled with his three pals. Police found him nearby with a gun shot wound and they found his three accomplices at a gas station in the neighborhood.
Four fellows broke into a Rockford, Illinois home and the armed resident opened fire on them. All but one of three were able to flee – the fourth fellow was DRT (dead right there) when the police arrived.
An armed customer in Phoenix, Arizona exchanged gun fire with a robber at a convenience store. The customer and the clerk suffered non-life-threatening wounds, and the thief took off in his getaway car, but police are certain that he was wounded, too. It’s only a matter of time before he turns up.
Here’s an administrative note; I’ll be AWOL this morning on a roadtrip to Morgantown and I’ll be back about 1300 hrs. I’ve got some posts in the queue to keep you entertained, though.

4 incidents, and not one case of a law abiding citizen shooting another law abiding citizen. Bad guys though? They didn’t fare as well.
Enjoy road trip. We’ll be blowing through that part of the world again in a few weeks.
As for the good news stories, more range time and work on moving to a covered and concealed position is necessary.
Did you get your pre-Liberty safety brief/vehicle inspection completed before hitting the road? Just a reminder, you not only look at the fuel gauge, you fuel up if necessary.
Is your DA Form 31 properly filled out?
Don’t forget to sign out with the SDNCO (no more call-ins).
Safe trip Jonn.
