The VA wants to hack off your junk

| June 21, 2016

One of our ninjas send us the story from Stars & Stripes that the Veterans’ Affairs Department wants to get into the business of transgender surgeries, you know, because they’ve conquered all of the other dragons that veterans’ healthcare has presented them;

The VA says the surgical procedures were not deemed to be “medically necessary” in the past and there were questions over their safety and effectiveness.

“However, increased understanding of gender dysphoria and surgical techniques in this area have improved significantly, and surgical procedures are now widely accepted in the medical community as medically necessary treatment for gender dysphoria,” the VA wrote in the notice.

The department called it a serious medical condition with severe consequences for patients if treatment is not provided.

Until recently, gender dysphoria was considered a mental disorder – it was called gender identity disorder (GID) until 3 years ago – the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), just edited in 2013, changes the name, because political correctness has permeated the medical community.

Me, personally, I have no complaints about the medical treatment that I get at the VA, but there are enough horror stories out there that preclude me having the VA get anywhere near my genitals.

This will end up being a huge recruiting tool for the military – everyone who wants to go through the expensive treatment and life-altering practice can just join the military, get a discharge for being unfit for duty because of their mental faculties, and then get in that line at the VA ahead of service connected disabled veterans. The waiting rooms at most VA medical facilities are already chocked full of confused people, this won’t lend any relief to that situation.

The Clueless Fool is out to emasculate the military in every way possible.

This is just the latest manifestation of their hatred of real men and women.

And in shocking news from Houston, it turns out the Houston VA has been jicking appointment wait times, too – even if they cancel or reschedule you, they enter it as a patient voluntary reschedule – so their published wait time of 3 days turns out to average more like 81 days.

sj

Will they also do addadictome’s for the ladies?

Graybeard

Snorted my coffee.

GR_ATC

Just AWESOME.

Someone owes the AF a new keyboard.

sj

Just thinking, if they could possibly schedule a chopadictome and an addadictome at the same time it would truly be an organ transplant.

Tom

I believe the procedure is correctly called a “LopItOffaMe”

Please refer the VA to this article in TAH as practice cases:

Yer Mornin’ Chuckle: Daesh “Trannies”

VA can make their day.

Green Thumb

General Discharge = Shitbag.

That number is about to go up.

18 months, do some drugs, get kicked out, become a woman and then draw vocational rehab to attend school.

All the while honorable folks are getting screwed.

Nicki

Hey, now! What makes you guys think that only confused males will be standing in line to get their junk hacked off?

There are surely physical women out there who want to get some junk attached right?

*ducks and runs*

Graybeard

In the headlines “VA performs first tranny junk transplant!”

Sounds to me like the VA’s about to ask for a larger budget, using this “need” as justification.

I also want to know how this is in any way “service-connected”. And please spare me the “developed/worsened the condition while serving” argument. Preexisting conditions that didn’t manifest or worsen during service do NOT qualify as service-connected conditions.

Hack Stone

Yep, you beat me to it. A pre-existing condition bars enlistment.

I don’t understand this administration. They gut every program that is successful in combat, reducing troop strength across the board, slashing pay and benefits, but they want to spend hundreds of millions of dollars for sexual reassignment surgery. I can’t imagine it getting any worse, until I think of a Hillary Clinton administration. What has our country done to deserve this?

Dana1371

I’m thinking that with a president hillary CIC….she will qualify for the addadictome surgery and then brag how great the VA is and open it up to the general public because obamacare still won’t be working. Other programs that are working will need to be slashed even further.

Hack: I understand this administration. They don’t truly give a FF about the average military member or citizen. It’s all about chipping away at the social fabric of our country. Sucking up to liberal and ‘confused’ fringe groups is part of the game plan.
Wait until gender identity confusion is considered a service connected disability, if it is not already. You know, their gender confusion began while serving. Go under the knife for free and also get disability bucks for life.

Someone tell me there is a light at the end of this liberal catastrophe that is enveloping our nation.

Hack,

Screwing up US combat capability is seen as a feature, not a bug. That is how they intend to ensure “peace”.

Jonn gets it right on this stuff. What the DSM-5 change means, at least it seems to me, is that a general transgender tendency toward gender dysphoria would not be considered a pre-condition, because it’s only the presence of related issues such as anxiety or paranoia that define gender dysphoria. Under the new DSM-5 definition, a guy who considers himself a girl is no different from having freckles or being left handed. It’s a “normal” occurrence and not a condition of mental illness. Therefore, so the SJW thinking goes, to screen recruits for it would be considered discriminatory.

One of the fundamental problems with a lot of this is that the SJW faction sees the military as a form of social welfare, and not actually as a means of keeping the wolf away from their sorry-ass door. Anyone who has been in an armed conflict can probably tell you that the screen should be directed towards optimum lethality. And the best way to provide such lethality, although it may sound counterintuitive, is to screen for robust mental health. You don’t want Rambo; you want people who can keep a clear head during the stress of a fight.

Since the SJW crowd typically has no sense or experience of a physical existential fight, they have no frame of reference.

MustangCryppie

This transgender stuff is just totally absurd. My belief that it is absurd is confirmed when I hear of 5 year olds who say they are not the right sex. Please spare me!

DOD should also have a looooong chat with Johns Hopkins which used to do the surgery, but stopped cause they finally realized that it caused more problems or many patients found that, after the surgery, surprise, surprise, their problems didn’t go away. They stopped doing the surgery at least a few years back.

Sparks

YGBFSM! Honorable vets can’t get seen for routine, much less in depth and very needed care but these queers and dykes will move to the head of the surgical rotation because Obama and the SJW elite deem them more politically worthy. Meanwhile, the troop needing surgery and/or therapy for TBI, for instance, goes to the back of the line in favor of the ones wanting dicks and twats. This outfit has gone to hell in a hand cart!

lily

So when a veteran on accident is given a pussy how long is he going to have to wait to get his penis back? 2 years?

Hondo

Well, I get hacked off by the VA frequently.

But (with apologies to Fee Waybill and Re Styles), they’ve never “touched me there”. (smile)

Semper Idem

I hope to whatever Higher Powers may be listening that the five-sided funny farm will at least require either an honorable discharge or the completion of one full enlistment* as a prerequisite for gender reassignment surgery. Yanno; just to get the no-load slackers who just want free surgery / hormones outta the system.

*I don’t know the term used by commissioned officers for their terms of service, sorry. I tried looking it up, but couldn’t find anything.

Warrior0369

Active Duty Service Obligations. These vary by MOS, time in Service and of course their OQR Officer Qualification Record.

Stacy0311

Since when is gender confusion a service connected condition?
And for anybody who wants the procedure, add them to the waiting list at the Phoenix VA. They should get in sometime around 2065

Warrior0369

It’s still a mental disorder and the VA would do well to take care of the waiting lists, the Agent Orange victims, the victims of the Camp Lejeune water system and the thousands of disabled, homeless veterans before it starts worrying about someone’s private’s.
