The “Rectification of Records” Continues
Well, it appears that the Department of Justice will soon release a transcript of the conversations the radical Islamist terrorist bastard in Orlando had with police while he was murdering dozens of people.
Sort of.
You see, it also appears that the US Attorney General has announced that DoJ will scrub all references to the loathsome terrorist bastard’s religion, Islam – as well his declaration of loyalty to Daesh – from those incomplete transcripts. Why?
Well, I’m not sure. But acknowledging this as an act of terror doesn’t seem to fit this Administration’s agenda. And it does allow this gang of political prostitutes who shamelessly use the deaths of innocents as political capital Administration to use the incident to focus attention away from that fact and onto other unrelated issues.
The Attorney General also stated that “a key goal of the probe was to determine why Mateen targeted the gay community.” I guess knowing that is more important than facing the fact that it was an act of war committed by a supporter of radical Islamic terror.
In fact, it seems to me as if they don’t want the American public to know the full truth – and are deliberately pulling out all the stops to mislead the public by hiding facts that are “inconvenient”. But maybe that’s just me.
Fox News has a good article this morning detailing the underhanded scam that DoJ’s pulling here. It’s worth a read.
The Rectification of Records continues. Only this time, it doesn’t seem to be Orwellian fiction.

Just wondering:
In what way does the current Administration differ from a dictatorship?
That they were elected to office does not change the nature of the governmental model they follow.
Obamaoists airbrushing and deleting records and transcripts…I’m shocked, just shocked…///
While claiming to be “The most transparent administration in history.”
Poor Winston Smith, laboring away at MiniTrue, trying to make history conform to the party’s dictates.
Nice reference
Apparently you missed the one in the article’s title. (smile)
Wow.
I’m wondering why the Feds are redacting the words used by the Muslim terrorist bastard when the recording is not theirs. The recording was to the local police, I understood, and state law would control the release of his calls, wouldn’t it? I is confused.
I’ll answer my own question. Florida Code 365.171 is entitled “Emergency communications number E911 state plan” and, indeed, controls dissemination and release of 911 calls. The caller’s name, address, and other identifying information are confidential. Of course, the 911 system was not designed to protect murderers, those who call-in bomb threats, and such things. But the law does not carry an exception for these. So, the bottom line is that identifying the Muslim as a Muslim is not something that could pinpoint the culprit under state law. It’s just a PC thang for the oBaMa regime.
Wait – what? Last week, bodaprez said on TV that the shooting in Orlando was an act of terrorism and hate.
http://www.politico.com/story/2016/06/obama-orlando-224238
But that was last week, so the weather report has changed, too? Because he changes his mind with the way the wind blows. Does that mean climate change is over?
Seriously, I simply cannot keep up with this stuff any more. I have important things to do, like cleaning cat hair off my bedraggled sofa.
Ah, but he didn’t say it was a terrorist act committed by an Islamic extremist. Even then, he was withholding part of the truth from the US public.
Whether we like it or not, Daesh, al Qaeda, and a host of other radical Islamic extremist groups are waging war on the West in general, and on the US in particular. Our leadership and the American public can either continue to act like the famous 3 monkeys – or both can recognize and take steps to counter the threat.
Oh, but, Hondo – on the mid-day news just now, the speaker specifically said he was identified as an Islamic terrorist. I guess it depends on what ‘as’ is, doesn’t it?
They can act like the 3 monkeys because it doesn’t effect them at all. Barry will never be directly effected by it, just as he won’t be directly effected by gun violence because he’ll have 24/7 secret service the rest of his life.
Remember? He said it himself:
“The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam.”
To even utter the word “Radical Islam” or to even acknowledge the threat is apostasy according to that book they read.
Right. I do understand that. Mateen was a wife-beater who engaged in bouts of violent anger and domestic violence, per his first wife. But that conflicts with his second wife who said he was just the opposite.(Last time I looked, she had said that.)
I guess I’m not quite as disconnected from reality as bodaprez is.
Mateen would’ve made a great Chicago journalist. ..
Well this would be one of multiple incidents were du great one, has used censorship. the French PM got a taste of it when during a speech at the White House he was BEEP’d multiple time or cut off for useing the term Islamic radical or we are at war. No big suprise
“a key goal of the probe was to determine why Mateen targeted the gay community.”
Let me make this simple for the DoJ. The shooter was an Islamic terrorist. The club was a gun free zone soft target. The fact that its clientele were mostly homosexual was an added bonus.
Of course, to accept the truth, the DoJ would have to admit a problem with Islamists, terrorists, and gun free zones.
Bobo: bingo.
Then again, when has this Administration ever given a damn about the truth?
He could have been queer as a three-dollar bill and was engaged in self loathing. It would fit, then, that he killed two birds with one stone in targeting the gay club. He gets Muzzy creds for the attack and gets to satisfy a need to lash out at what he hated about himself.
CNN isn’t reporting this at all. ABC has a small blurb about the redactions at the end of its story. Go figure.
Well, denial of reality is a problem for these people. I wonder how they’ll feel about it when they’re dragged into the street and shot by Islamic jihadi. Think they’ll still deny it then?
Because the DNC tells them they won’t be effected by it. Until, one of these extremist jihadis takes a news station hostage, which they won’t. They are too reliant on the news media to spread their activities.
Ah, but if the Trump administration were to do anything like that, they would be covering it 24/7.
Does this mean no Purple Heart?
It’ll be redacted. He’ll receive the ###### Heart Medal.
The purple earring. No, it’s not a gay reference.
Is it just me, or does our current US Attorney General seem to be just as dumb as her boss?
She discussed prosecuting people under the RICO Act for disagreeing with the climate change philosophers.
So what do you think?
I believe the correct term is “climate change propagandists”, Ex-PH2. Given the geological record, the thesis that man is causing anything more than minor noise-level variations (on the order of normal seasonal variations) in the planet’s long-term climate is neither proven or disproven.
That’s why I used ‘philosophers’ instead of ‘propagandists’, Hondo.
It’s quibbling over 1/2 degree. Fits right in with philosophy.
The same people who are hypocritical about climate change. “YOU ALL must stop using fossil fuels and driving gas guzzlers! Excuse me, I have to take a limo ride to my private jet so I can go to the next city I’m giving a lecture about climate change and evil corporations on. I’m being paid 125 thousand by a corporation, so I can’t be late.”
The on thing they’re not Kilo is dumb…these rat bastards are fairly intelligent and are executing a plan of action that suits their world view. They’ve been doing a great job of executing that plan for close to 8 years now and getting results that they expected from day one.
These sons a bitches are a lot of things, but don’t underestimate them as dumb.
Funny, if someone else did that with evidence, they’d call it perjury…
No – perjury is lying under oath. Not that these guys are above that – in fact that is SOP for them.
But this is “tampering with evidence” in a sense, although their response would be “but we are not in a court of law.”
The USA is in trouble, whatever the language.
I guess the whores in DC and elsewhere will continue to wrap these murderous pigs in silk until the new administration comes aboard in January. And, folks, if it’s Wideload in office, look for more of the same with the added benefit to the liberals of confiscation of firearms. Mooz-Slum pigs on the loose and mainstream American disarmed. That works for the political whores.
Already out today that the correct new terms is individuals “involved with the justice system”.. apparently “ex-con” is too harsh and leads to people thinking those folks had been, like, y’know, to prison or something (with all the accompanying social stigma)
Not to sidetrack the argument, but I wonder about part of what you said, and that is the disarming of America. I doubt they’d attempt outright confiscation — that’d just get them shot at. To attempt any form of repeal of 2A would probably do the same thing. Yet, it’s clear the Political Princes intend to push for gun control leading to an outright ban, and soon. But how are they going to accomplish that without provoking a second Revolution? Any ideas?
Hondo, did Nixon have to actually face a Congressional hearing over Watergate? I don’t recall his being there in person.
Seems to me if this is ‘cleansing the language’, it isn’t perjury. It’s just plain lying, especially after the words ‘terrorist’ and ‘hatred’ were used in the same sentence by bodaprez. But that’s just my personal opinion.
Not to my knowledge, Ex-PH2.
In fact, I’m pretty sure he was never formally interviewed by Federal LEOs while legally in jeopardy. Pretty sure Ford’s pardon was issued before that happened.
Well, since Obama said that not he or his advisors ever saw any positive effect in the war on ISIL by using the term “Radical Islamist”, it’s a non issue. So there you go, put your head far enough up your local Imam’s ass and the problem just, goes away. There’s no Radical Islam. It’s just wayward young men who happen to be Muslim making poor life choices. Nothing to see here folks…move along. Kiss my ass in the county square Obama!
“I pledge allegiance to [omitted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted].” That’s from the redacted transcript released by DOJ today. And the FBI says it’s okay because Omar here perverted Islam. WTF is that? I guess we have to wait for the clowns to retire in order to hear their real view of this absolutely insane sanitizing of the transcript.
I guess that this DOJ approach is consistent with how “___________ ________ of the ___________ __________ ___________ were protected by prosecutors some years ago during the pedophile _________ abomination.”
Heard a small blurb about this on a national radio news broadcast this morning. The carefully parsed words tantalized my truth radar – the DoJ was planning to release a partial transcript of the conversation.
Why? What criteria would be used to determine which part or parts? My opinion is to release none of it until it is absolutely certain that the tape/s have no evidentiary value, and perhaps not even then. When/If it is released, let it all become public. No edited version.
We, the public, just have no need to know at this point. Sure, there are plenty of voyeurs out here but want to hear them does not trump need to know.
Well, OWB, I would agree except that the SOB is dead and there will be no prospective jurors tainted by the release of the public record. The redactions are unnecessary, even the DOJ cannot cite a legal basis for them. It is a political decision, purely a political decision.
And now, the political decision has changed. That didn’t take long.
The funny thing is that had the transcript been released w/o the redactions, the essential content would have swept in and out of the news cycle by Wednesday, Thursday at the latest. Now, thanks to the geniuses at the White House and their toadies at the DOJ, it was, as they newsies say, legs.
Ah! For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Speaking of funny things, what’s the difference between a fiddle and a violin? A violin has strings. A fiddle has strangs.
Just like the USSR was the leftists’ side in the Cold War, and the congenitally treasonous scum are still enraged that the USSR lost, Obama and his crew are onside with the jihadiscum.
It’s more and more like the old Soviet Union in this land. We don’t have Pravda but we don’t need it. The press largely and willingly distorts the truth on behalf of the state. We don’t need official revisionists either. We will willingly tear down monuments that displease us and rewrite bios of our Founding Fathers to reflect all their sins. We used to scoff at elections in the USSR, where the choices were really no choices at all. Now, our elections offer much the same. The Soviets were known as godless creatures who replaced Eastern Orthodoxy with The State and The Party. Today, many Americans envy that. Environmentalism is the new religion and the state and her scientists the high priesta.
Sorry, Grimmy. I accidentally hit “report. “
I should have included that the old USSR also had a wonderful Constitution too. The problem is that it takes the rule of law to give a Constitution meaning. When the rule of men applies, as it does more and more in the USA nowadays, the Constitution becomes little more than a quaint historic document.
You said, “The Attorney General also stated that “a key goal of the probe was to determine why Mateen targeted the gay community.” I guess knowing that is more important than facing the fact that it was an act of war committed by a supporter of radical Islamic terror.”
I think that the DOJ should focus on why he used 55 gr bullets or fired a weapon inside a building or had bad hair. Did he drive to the place? Did he use a car that burns gasoline? Did he get any tickets from corrupt policemen? Did he have a confederate flag on his clothes, car, house, flagpole, or magazine? Had he made any appointments with a doctor to discuss transgender surgery? Maybe he made a blog post? The NSA can search the universe, that will take a few weeks. Did he identify as Palestinian or illegal immigrant? Maybe he had one of those EVIL iPhones with already broken encryption that the FBI can spend weeks on and the media can talk about. There are clearly subtle currents here, let’s not look at the obvious. That is not interpretative and would miss the true art of the thing.
If the guy brought up Islam then that works for the Republicans, those enemies of the state, so we must not talk about anything that might make them look good. If we talk about homosexuality, we can say that all Republicans are homophobic and we are not and that makes us look good.
Ya’ know, next time around 40% of the US voters will vote for Hillary no matter what. I am unable to comprehend how anyone can vote for people who politicize something like this.
This just in, Lying Liars of the current administration change tune after even some liberal media sites call bullshit:
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/06/20/fbi-doj-release-new-full-transcript-orlando-shooters-911-call.html
“All of the decisions about releasing the transcripts were made by Justice Department officials,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said at the daily press briefing at the White House. “The view of the White House is that we should not interfere with an ongoing investigation…” He said that with a straight face? Since when does the White House not interfere (i.e., inject itself) into investigations. Hey, maybe he can invite the shooter’s daddy to a Rose Garden party or invite him over to have a beer or tell him, “If I had a son….” The bullshit is deep. The stink is great.
Yes, denial is definitely NOT a river in Egypt.
This becomes more and more fascinating, like watching a super-slow motion train wreck of fully-loaded tanker cars.
And as I’ve said before, whoever inherits this mess will also inherit the wind.
I’d be less concerned now about the hysterical twits who are afraid of firearms, screeching in fear and huddled in the corner, and more concerned about being fully aware of my surroundings all the time. I keep thinking that if just one or two people had realized this guy was acting strangely, they might have been able to stop him.
