Friday morning feel good stories
In Boca Raton, Florida, a sleepy David Cappitelli encountered a burglar in his home. He fired four shots at the thief but it doesn’t look like any bullets found their mark. The criminal escaped through a window and down the street.
In Lockland, Ohio, another homeowner was a better marksman when several men forced their way into his house. Two or three invaders escaped injury, but one of the criminals was DRT (dead right there) on the floor of the home when police arrived on the scene.
In Sciotoville, Ohio, a home invader attacked a couple with a crowbar so they stabbed the shit out of him. He went to a nearby convenience store where the clerk sent him to the hospital right before his arrest.
In Houston, Texas, a contractor hired to board up a recently burned restaurant was approached by a 17-year-old who attempted to rob the worker. The contractor wrestled the gun from the thief and shot him. The criminal is in the hospital getting his new orifices plugged.
A security guard in Dallas, Texas was enjoying his Whataburger while in his patrol vehicle when he was approached by two criminals who demanded his property at gunpoint. Instead, the guard handed over his bullets. One thief was DRT when the police arrived and the other is in custody.

5 Criminal acts, with 2 dead bad guys, 1 stabbed bad guy, 1 wounded bad guy, and 1 more caught and locked up. Not a very profitable profession, and pretty damned dangerous too.
A Security Guard in Dallas is robbed while eating a hamburger? If the burger had seven slices of cheese, would it be safe to assume that it was Heavy Chevy?
I wondered the same thing.
Nah. Denni-boi consumes cheese by the pound, not the slice. I don’t think 7 slices of American cheese is even 1/2 pound.
It depends on how thick you slice it.
True. But if I recall correctly, Whataburger doesn’t use particularly thick slices of cheese.
Recap: approx 9 to 10 total perps; 2 DRT, 3 wounded and in custody, another unwounded and in custody, maybe 4 on the run – and no successful crimes.
That makes today’s armed citizen “batting line” 6 for 10 with 2 HR, 3 other extra-base hits, and a single. Not too shabby.
But if they keep playing double-headers, the other team may run short on players. (smile)
(Note to self–more range time.)
In regard to the Lockland, OH, incident, if the idjits in the press ever learn that a criminal is not a victim when he’s stopped -by ANY means available – from committing a crime, I will be happy.
I guess those wimpy reporters in Ohio haven’t heard of self-defense in a home invasion, have they? Ever wonder what they’d do if it happened to them? Cry a lot and whine ‘don’t hurt me’?
Some idiot lib said that the women should even offer the home invaders a blow job to stop them from killing them…
Yeah… That’s a real good idea… Not a chance that they wont’t take advantage of the woman even more so…
Oh and then kill her in front of her husband and kids…
The stupidity of liberals never ceases to amaze me…
Here’s my solution to the problem… “Sure thing pal, would you like that blow job in .45 ACP, .9mm or would you like to go full boat and go for the .30-06…
That’ll give ’em a blow job alright….
Here’s another one from Florida that happened the other day. (Incidentally, the name of the kid is Trevon). Heard it on the radio and shook my head.
(Check out the article. Your head will spin when you read the family’s comments in reaction).

I read the article. It’s the functional illiteracy on the party of the writer in addition to the trash talk that makes my head spin.
But I suppose the double life that little Trayfann led is never taken into consideration by the bereaved, who immediately hit the local salon, just in case they have to do an in-person on TV for a TV crew.
I agree, the article was poorly written. As for the rest, I can’t say I’m not surprised (but I do find it amusing people actually think that way).
Also, the funny (pathetic) part I read was one family member defending the kid, stating: “You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood,” said Harris. “You have to understand… how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.” It strikes me she’s defending the kid for breaking into the house to steal… the mechanism in the hood to get money.
(How else could he have gotten money? The obvious answer is “get a friggin’ job!”
Oh…and maybe the parents should’ve taught him NOT to break into houses that didn’t belong to him.
Just an observation.
I don’t know how FL law reads on this, but if it was here, the female homeowner would be in jail. Two reasons: She went to the house when her alarm sounded, even though she’d called the police to respond; and she shot the thief as he was exiting the building. If she had been in the home at the time of the break-in, that would be a whole different matter, but as it stands….no.
I’m with you on that.
Laws about protecting one’s self or property vary from state to state. Where you live sounds an awful lot like where I am. I guess FL is different that way, but it’s yet to be seen if the homeowner will be charged.
In Texas, this would probably have been a clean shoot.
If someone interrupted my “double meat, no cheese, add jalapenos”, I’d return lead also….
Yeah, don’t fuck with a guys Whataburger !!!
Good enough to kill for !!!
Now there’s a great sales tool !!!
Not a bad day in Texas or Ohio, and Florida wasn’t too far behind, although they should at least apologize for Catheter addict Bernath.
