Monday morning feel good stories
In Niagara Falls, New York, a resident fired twice from his shotgun into the chest of a fellow the articles describes as an intruder who had a previous relationship with a woman who lived in the apartment. The intruder fellow was DRT (dead right there) when police arrived on the scene.
In Burien, Washington, a man went into a convenience store and began attacking people with a hatchet. A 60-year-old customer pulled out his legal firearm and shot the attacker, likely saving the clerk’s life. The hatchet man was DRT (dead right there) when police arrived.
In Bangor, Michigan, a woman threatened an intruder with her shotty when he broke into her home. She convinced him to leave. The police caught up to him, so he’s making new friends in jail instead of laying on a slab in the morgue.

Legally owned and used, firearms can be employed as lifesaving devices
There was a shooting outside a mall, here in Minnesota, late last week, over a pair of Air Jordan’s. Well, what the news didn’t tell you, until after you had the weekend to stew over the shooting part, was that the bad guys were stopped by a carry permit holder, who shot the bad guy that was doing the shooting. Now the shooter and his accomplice are cooling their heels in the jug. I guess they don’t want people to know there are good guys with guns out there, too.
That is why we need a federal 3 day waiting period with background checks before someone can buy a pair of Air Jordans. Of course, the government is beholden by the Big Sneaker Industry. If it saves just one aspiring rapper-basketball player, it will be worth it.
They also had not caught the original shooter two days ago which may have led to security concerns of the weapons permit owner.
I don’t think the details were know two days ago. I think it was not the news, but the police that were keeping the details quiet because it appears the weapons permit shooter does not want his name out there.
OK . . . 3 total perps, 2 DRT, one in custoday. Tthat makes today’s armed citizen batting line 3 for 3, with 2 HR and a single. Impressive.
Make sure there’s only one story told…yours.
1st story- ’cause anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice.
