Saturday morning feel good stories

| February 13, 2016

A homeowner in Pulaski County, Kentucky heard intruders in her home and called the police and her father. Mark Baker arrived at his daughter’s home before the police and encountered thwo people unassing the AO. One jumped in their car and Baker sent a couple of rounds in their direction as they made their escape, tagging the vehicle with a bullethole. He held the other thief at gunpoint until the police hauled his ass away.

In West Columbus, Ohio, an armed thief tried to rob a convenience store clerk, but the clerk took his gun from him and shot him twice in the abdomen. the thief left the scene and went to Tim Hortons, I guess for the coffee, but he was taken to the hospital from there. The police think he’ll survive. Again, I warn folks that you can’t always depend on the criminal to bring you a gun to the site of his crime. Bring your own.

In Amarillo, Texas, David Lynn Gooch assaulted a woman in her home. She had a gun, but, unfortunately, she accidentally shot herself in the shoulder. She was more successful with a knife when she stabbed Gooch who left at a high rate of speed. Police found him later. I guess the lesson is to stick with what you know.

Be prepared, people. Your defense is your responsibility, not that of Law Enforcement. They are there to arrest those who have committed dirty deeds. Get a weapon, get familiar and comfortable with it, and stay proficient.

Stick with what you know. Good advice.
