Loose ends [Jonn]

| December 21, 2008

Some of my posts over the last few weeks have left some loose ends hanging that I need to tie up.

Goeff Millard became our first lavender entry on POW Net meaning he’s eligible for prosecution under the Stolen Valor Act.

On the post about phony sailor Robert Dennen, also known as Pinhead, Raoul asked Army Sergeant to send us Jesse MacBeth’s DD214 so we’d have a complete set. Well, the folks at POW Net read Raoul’s comment and sent MacBeth’s DD214 to us;

I can see how MacBeth had infiltrated IVAW with his DD214 – it’s supports everything he claimed, well, except everything. But, we’re working on a complete set. I’ve still got some requests for FOIA releases pending.

For those of you who missed it, Pinhead didn’t show up for his weekly protest in West Chester, PA yesterday. I hope he’s OK. But if he stayed away because of my post (I had an awful lot of traffic from the Philly area this week especially from email messages) that’s my goal. If you’re trying to use your status as a veteran to lend credence to your political message, you’d better have your narrative correct before I correct it for you and erase that credibility.

I’m not doing this to silence the debate, or stifle dissent. I’m doing it to keep the debate honest. I’ve got nothing to hide (IVAW has had my final DD214 for nearly a year) or misrepresent, I expect the same from all parties involved.

Jonn-
How does one seperate from the Army without a valid signature on a DD214? I must be stoopid just like JF-in Carry said.

They were probably in a hurry to get rid of his narrow ass. Besides, he only would have signed a bunch of /NONE/ and N/A blocks anyway.
