Sunday morning feel good stories
In New Orleans, Louisiana, a woman fired a shot at her neighbor when he tried to force his way into her home. He abandoned the endeavor, but police took him into custody. Apparently, he was on parole, now he’s being held on $50,000 bail.
In Houston, Texas, a business owner was roughed up by some masked, armed thugs. When they left, he went to get his gun, but he heard a gun shot outside where an armed good Samaritan had tagged one of the thugs who showed up at the hospital. There’s no word on his condition.
A gun store owner in Grove Hill, Alabama shot four teens who tried to rob his business. One of the teens was DRT (dead right there) the others are looking at a life in prison after they recover from their gunshot wounds.
In Dallas, Texas, a woman was taking a bath when her alarm warned her that someone had broke into her house. She secured her firearm and barricaded herself in the bathroom while she called for the police and her husband. The thief kicked at her bathroom door and she responded with a shot center-mass of the door which lit the thief’s ass on fire and he left the scene at a high rate of speed. No word on if he’s injured or not, but his intended victim isn’t and that’s all that really matters.
In Cleveland, Ohio, a 19-year-old broke into a residence, but the homeowner ran him off his firearm, then the homeowner screwed up and chased the teen down then shot him in the legs – both are in custody.
In Chicago, Illinois, Ronald Williamson, 35, and Lawrence Pitts forced their way into a home with a gun. They got into a struggle with the resident there and the gun discharged hitting Pitts who was declared DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. Williamson suffered pistol-whipping injuries, but more importantly he’s facing murder charges for the death of his friend Pitts.

Nice, very nice. Good guys stopping bad guys, as it should be. And the odds are pretty damned good that the dead ones will not continue their life of crime, making for just a bit more peace on the streets. Thanks Jonn, for the Sunday morning cheer.
These poor fellows. They were just trying to turn their lives around. /sarc (trying to show compassion per the other thread)

To the lady in Dallas: may the passage of time mute the terror. But leave the bullet hole.
I particularly appreciate the Chicago story.
Looks like the fired McCarthy’s idiot ideas are not so brilliant and the lame-ass Rahmbo is teetering on the brink of being kicked out of his chair.
You’ve gotta be a special kind of stupid to try to rob a gun store in Alabama. Just…. wow.
Chicago… killed your fellow scumbag criminal.. then get pistol whipped by the victim. Sounds like a WIN WIN WIN!!!
