Thursday morning feel good stories

| December 10, 2015

Slim pickins this morning but here we go; In Turlock, California, a homeowner held a potential thief at gun point until police hauled him off. The former police officer claims that if his daughter hadn’t been nearby, we’d be reading about a DRT.

Bobo sends us a late entry from Gwinnett County, Georgia where armed neighbors rescued an elderly man from a thief who was trying to stab the 90-year-old. Karen Duncan ordered the thief to stop stabbing the man and threatened to shoot him. Finally, the criminal stopped and disarmed himself.

I respect the not making a DRT in front of his daughter but we need more DRT or DOT to thin out that herd.

Amen to that, then there would be fewer punks costing taxpayers money having to feed, clothe and house them!

She ordered the thief to stop stabbing him and threatened to shoot him? She should’ve painted the walls with his brains as soon as she saw him in the act.

Even a “righteous” shoot has negative emotional effects. If you can stop the crime without firing, you save more than the cost of ammunition.

The California incident reminded me of my favorite lines from “Second Hand Lions”:
“Relatives”
“Damn!”
