Sunday morning feel good stories
Thunderstixx sends us a link to a story from Aiken, South Carolina where a couple thought that they were buying a car from a Craig’s List seller. When they got to the rendezvous, the seller pulled out his gun and demanded their money. While he had the gun pointed at the man, the woman pulled her own gun from her purse and made the gunman DRT (dead right there). His accomplice un-assed the AO and the couple were uninjured.
In Belle, West Virginia, a homeowner defended his home from a criminal who broke into the residence. The criminal was determined to be DRT despite first responders’ attempts to save him.
In La Mesa Junction, Colorado, a homeowner returned home and found an intruder in his home, so he put yet another criminal in the hospital with his legal firearm.
In Humble, Texas, a couple hid in their closet when they heard some intruders force their way into the house. The husband fired through the closet door when the trio came into the bedroom. The criminals fled the house, but police found them with one of the three DOT (dead over there) in the back seat of the getaway car.
In Pembroke, New York, a woman suffered injuries at the hands of a former boyfriend who thought that he could beat some love into their relationship. She ended his attempts at wooing her back with a gunshot to his leg. He fled until police located him and took him to the hospital to await more permanent accommodations. Because a restraining order is just a piece of paper.

Wife defends husband from thugs, one Dead, Man defends what is his, one in the hospital, Husband protects himself and wife, one Dead. Thug lives don’t matter when they have put themselves in this position. Good shooting people.
This makes up for yesterday’s slim pickings.
Starting to think that a weapon is a key item to have for Craig’s List transactions.
Personally, I’d recommend staying away from Craig’s List entirely. Far too many recent reports of criminals using Craig’s List ads to lure victims to a robbery site.
I’m thinking the two surviving perps in Texas are about to become acquainted with the term “felony murder law”. Ditto for the surviving perp in SC when caught.
Let’s see: 8 total perps, with 3 doing the long dirtnap, two wounded and in custody, and two unwounded but in custody. That’s a 5 for 6 day at the plate with 3 HR and 2 other extra-base hits – plus 2 walks to go with them. Nice.
I’m impressed with the lady who shot the guy who was beating her up. You go, girl!
Personally, I’d have aimed a little higher so as to give him a low-cost neutering job. But that’s just me.
Nice to see others were so thoughtful of Jonn so he didn’t have to scour the pages looking for DRT sleazy pukes.
Good rundown today friends !
RE: The SC shooting. First, to the wife, Good Shooting! Second, never, EVER trust what a woman carries in her purse.
RE: The TX shooting. I get a feeling that the still living perps are going to become WELL acquainted with Drs Bubba, Thor, and Tiny’s Colo-Rectal Straightening Clinic and Cockmeat Sammachs with Manmeat Mayo Deli.
In Humble, TX, “it wasn’t a random deal”, he said. A lot of the home invasion stories strike me that way. BTW, gotta love those names of Texas towns. Still think Welfare is too close to Comfort, though.
By the way, that is pronounced UM-bull, not Hum-bull. Just like properly it is YOU-ston.
Hyou-ston is in NY, I hear, and HOUSE-ton is in London.
This is too rich. A guy comes home and lights a fire in his fireplace. Soon, thereafter, his house begins to fill with smoke and he hears screams from the chimney. He put out the fire and found a would-be burglar who was no longer screaming. Death will do that to you. I am a tad suspicious of the story (link below) because, unless you’re talking about a chimney built long ago, even Tom Thumb isn’t getting inside of one. I can’t really tell from the pic.
