FBI: Chattanooga shooter’s motive may never be public

| November 14, 2015

The FBI says that they may never tell the public what the motivations were for the fellow who killed four service members in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Investigators have said Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was a homegrown violent extremist but have not offered more details about what motivated the attack that began at a military recruiting center and ended when Abdulazeez was shot to death by police who followed him to the reserve center.

“We’re still trying to make sure we understand Abdulazeez, his motivations and associations, in a really good way,” FBI Director James Comey told reporters during a visit to Nashville’s FBI field office on Friday.

Comey said he understands the public interest in the shooting, but he did not know whether there would ever be a public report on it.

What he meant to say is that as long as an administration like this one remains in the White House, they won’t be telling the public about his motivations. Allowing Americans to Speculate about his motives is much better than telling the truth, I guess.

“But he was such a good boy,he was turning his life around with the religion of peace…..”

But he didn’t have a job, his safe space was invaded, and, of course, global warming.

The Other Whitey

Clearly a textbook example of workplace violence.

And the trauma of paying college tuition…

Five of them, actually.

Big John

It is Bush’s fault of course.

Unless you have been dead for three days you still have enough brain cells firing to know that his motive was Jehad. Jihad, a concept that is so alien to the western mind as to be totally incomprehensible to us. As goofy as it is, that is the only reason the nitwit needed to kill.

I think you guys are being a little too quick in judging this situation. The FBI is still investigating this and may have a lead as to who influenced this guy, or others who may have helped him plan. This may be an effort to give away nothing regarding what they know about this assfuck and shitlords friends. Hopefully Uncle Sam’s got something up his sleeve for this prick’s buddies and they’re just playing things close to the vest.

Just An Old Dog

Note the headlines,,, It didn’t mention anything about who backed him up or enabled him. It clearly stated his MOTIVE.
I bet the house it was a radical belief in Islam.
Not that I’m an FBI analysist. Any 10 normal people who heard the story would come up with the same conclusion in under 2 minutes.

Jarhead

J Dog….Don’t know if I can be counted in under “normal” people, but I do know one thing for certain. Logic and common sense are despised by sheep. Those two traits you OWN.

Former11b

I did note the headline. Of course it was radical Islam. I seriously doubt any other possibility, and Pretty everybody believes the same. However, if the FBI comes forward and officially says something along the lines of “We know this guy was radicalized.” it will open the door for other questions that they may not want to answer for OPSEC reasons, and it couod imply that they know WHO this guy was working with which could inadvertently tip off the people who influenced him, particularly so if those people are actually IN America already.

This administration may be ineffective against terrorism, but they didn’t hide the reasoning for the Boston bombing, there’s no logical reason for them doing the same in this case unless disclosing that reason would be detrimental to the Bureau’s efforts.

Also, this administration and the FBI are NOT the same thing. The FBI is filled with career professionals, not politicians. Not everything the FBI does is influenced by the Oval Office.

>>Not everything the FBI does is influenced by the Oval Office.<<

Like what for example?

IRS targeting?

Labeling Conservative and Christian Americans Domestic Terrorists?

The Hillary debacle?

I have little faith in the FBI to conduct an impartial investigation and absolutely NO FAITH in the DOJ.

Old Trooper

As our wonderful President has said about every terrorist attack conducted by jihadis; “I wouldn’t want to speculate”. Yet, when a nutbar shoots up school, or a congressional meet and greet in a parking lot, he knows exactly who the attacker is and what the motivation is; “It’s the free access to guns that did it”.

You are right, though, the FBI is full of professionals, but their boss (the AG) has to follow her boss (the Prez) and he is a politician. So, they can’t say publicly anything that isn’t vetted by Jarret or Obumbles.

I pray every day that January 20, 2017 will be THE END OF AN ERROR.

Running around yelling “snackbar” doesn’t tell them what his motivations were? Oookaaay! Guess we’ll never know.

2/17 Air Cav

There are two wars being fought, one bloody and the other not, at least directly. The bloody war is obvious. The other is the one that pits the defenders of Islam, those who can’t say enough times that Islam isn’t the enemy, against those of us who grasp that the distinction is useless at this juncture. Now, if the so-called rads want to tattoo and RI on their foreheads, that would be grand. Until then, Islam is the enemy.

Sparks

“homegrown violent extremist”. Yea right. Obama’s favorite definition for any of his Muslim lover boys. He’ll never call a spade a spade when it comes to Muslims and terrorists.

MSG Eric

Keep in mind, we know more about the Bin Laden raid than we do about what happened in these domestic attacks that keep happening.

You should also notice that the administration isn’t talking about the oregon shooting anymore. Why? Well because it was a nutball killing christians. If he were killing muslims, or everyone, they’d still be using it as an example. (Even MSMs were stating he was killing people of “religion” not specifically christians).

They very well could say, “he’s an islamic extremist attacking Americans” without stating that they are tracking all his associates, what he did on his computer (besides watch porn), who his family connections are, etc etc etc.

If they “captured” him and didn’t tell anyone about it, that would be a reason not to provide any information about the situation, his motives, etc.

And as was stated above, the FBI works for the AG, so if the AG wants or doesn’t want them to do something, they comply. Even if they do find something illegal, information, etc., to charge someone with a crime, it still has to go through the DoJ for trial and all that fanciness. (i.e., the Black Panther Party and their voter intimidation / polling in front of a voting station crimes that were dismissed by Eric Holder.)

E-6 type, 1 ea

The same FBI also found that there was no political or religious motivation for the stabbing attack at UC-Merced. It’s just a complete coincidince that the attacker’s name is Mohammad.
