The other day, we talked about Simon Emilio Zablah, who was arrested in Florida for impersonating a soldier and a Federal law enforcement officer. From the original Florida Sun Sentinel article;
For years, he told people he had earned a Purple Heart for bravery and claimed he was still serving his country as a federal agent in the war on drugs, or deployed on a mysterious Special Ops assignment, authorities say.
He wore a military uniform, laden with honors, to cadge free meals at restaurants. He dodged traffic tickets with a forged card that claimed he was working for the U.S. Department of Defense on a top-secret classified mission, according to court records.

Quite a bit different than what he claimed that he earned;
He was arrested in July for choking his pregnant girlfriend. The roly-poly woman beater cut off his ankle monitor and fled to El Salvador, but then he came back. Now his new girlfriend can choke him in their cell.

I fully admitted to lying the first time but I did reenlist and was recently medically retired due to a combat related injury. I just applied for CRSC and was approved.

I’ll at least say this much for the j-hole – he actually seems to have his “ribbons and badges” in the correct order and placed properly (though his unit awards on the white shirt might be a bit crooked).
‘Course, Medals of America (or any number of other sources) will do that for you. All you have to do is spend the $$$.
