Saturday morning feel good stories
Amy sends us our first feel good story today and it comes from Harris County, Texas, where many of our stories happen. In this one, a would-be victim was approached by three fellows who wanted what he had. Fortunately, he was armed and shot two of the three, one was DRT (dead right there), another is in the hospital in serious condition and the third messed his drawers as he fled the scene.
In Las Vegas, Nevada an inhospitable man shot a late night visitor who was crawling through his window. The man told the news crew that he’d owned a gun for years for protection, but never needed it until the other night. It’s better to have one and not need it, than the other way around. There’s no word on the condition of the late night visitor.
In Oren, Utah, a carjacker tried to steal a woman’s car and her purse. A bystander heard the commotion and approached with his nine millimeter handgun and ordered the thief from the car. He stepped out with his hands up, but then lunged at the armed Good Samaritan, who ended the encountered with a single bullet, the thief was DRT (dead right there).
In Hialeah, Florida, 41-year-old Orlando Garcia chased after the man who stole his car and had an altercation with him, until pulled out his gun and ended the conversation. The thief is resting comfortably in the hospital after his self-inflicted adventure.
In Houston, Texas, an off-duty police officer coming home from second job noticed that he was being followed by a vehicle occupied by four people. So the officer pulled off on a side street and stopped, the car followed and stopped behind him and one person got out of the car and approached the officer’s car with a firearm. The officer identified himself, which didn’t slow the approach of the criminal, so the officer fired at him striking the pop-up target twice. He then returned to the vehicle and drove off with his friends who dumped his body nearby. The police rolled up on the still-breathing body and took all four in to custody (the other three were parked nearby).

Good shooting in all 5 instances. DRT is good, but being able to have most of the offenders who survived in custody is good too. Makes the Cuban Coffee a bit sweeter this Saturday morning.
I can’t say this enough: ALWAYS LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING. PERIOD!
These people do not have your best interests at heart.
Seems like off duty Houston cops are getting more than their share of the action.
All units…Code four. DRT. lol!
