Gravity takes it’s toll
Two military helicopters have had “hard landings” in the last few hours. A Blackhawk in Colorado and a CH-53E Super Stallion in North Carolina.
The Colorado incident resulted in two injuries of soldiers of 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson. In North Carolina, one Marine died and nine others are being treated for their injuries. The birds were from the Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.

“Hard Landings” my Ass. Those were crashes.
Just another attempt by the MSM to soften the blow of what actually happened and sanitizing the language.
I guess that’s the new catch phrase. “Hard Landing”
My prayers and condolences go out to all service members and their families for the deceased and injured.
They can’t spin it to favor gun control or support Hildebeast, therefore they have to make sure it won’t distract from stories that will.
Nah, definitely Army spin. The MSM has been pulling for more and more of our number to be shredded, remember?
More likely the Army spin than MSM – the media doesn’t give a shit about the Army’s reputation.
Army aviation speak used to be accidents and incidents. I don’t know whether it still is. This was an accident and, more specifically, a crash.
Gravity always wins !!!
After a hard landing, my ass hurts.
“Hand landing” is not the right name when the blades chopped down trees and the aircraft is in pieces.
Is that anything like Bernath’s “hard landing”?
