Kelli Bordeaux’s murderer sentenced
Jon the Mechanic sends a link to the news that Nicholas Michael Holbert pleaded guilty to the beating death of Fort Bragg medic Kelli Bordeaux three years ago in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Holbert accepted the life sentence to avoid the death penalty;
Cumberland County District Attorney Billy West said in court that Bordeaux was estranged from her husband in April 2012 and was dating someone from her native Florida when they met Holbert at Froggy Bottoms. After her boyfriend returned to Florida, she and Holbert went to the bar for an evening of pool, karaoke and drinking.
Sometime during the evening, Bordeaux became aware the Holbert is a registered sex offender, West said. When they left the bar together in the early hours of April 14, 2012, Holbert asked if they could spend more time together, and Bordeaux rebuffed his advances with a “derogatory comment about him being a sex offender,” West said.
Holbert then punched her, knocking her out, dragged her to his car and drove her to a makeshift camp behind the bar where he lived, West said. When Bordeaux came to, she started screaming, and Holbert “beat her until she stopped screaming, stopped moving,” the prosecutor said.
The following morning, Holbert drove into some woods near Eastover and buried Bordeaux.
Her body was discovered two years later.

He may get that (he spent time in the hole as a sex offender while the polices and the young lady’s family were looking for her)…. from his fellow inmates when he refuses cockmeat sammiches, anal dilation therapy or just doesn’t what to fit in to the “pecking order” at the state pound him in the ass prison.
DAAAAAAAAMNIT! Another lowlife that’ll get fed, clothed, and housed for the rest of its life at the taxpayers’ expense. Somebody distract his jailers after I fetch a rope and find the right tree! ( it’s the thought that counts, ain’t it?)
Maybe, just maybe, he’ll still get the death sentence, just from another inmate.

Don’t worry, guys. Ms. Bordeaux will be waiting for him when he shows up at the gates to the warm place. He will never leave.

You know, our prisons have problems. So I think we should try something new: “mainlining” sex offenders in the prison’s Gen Pop. That is, no protective custody or segregation for sex offenders – just put them in with everyone else.
I think this guy should be one of the first test subjects in whatever passes for NC’s maximum security lockup. Just put him in Gen Pop, and pass the word that although he’s a sex offender and a murder, he’s to be treated “just like one of the guys”.
Hey, various forms of deviant behavior are all perfectly OK today. Anything goes! So the other inmates should simply accept him for what he is and leave him alone, right?
Kill and then be killed. Life for a life. I’m sick of paying for murders room and board.
