Sunday morning feel good stories
In St. Paul, Minnesota, a man reported that his car had been stolen. he told police that there were two guns in the stolen vehicle. About ten minutes later, police received a report that another man had been robbed at gun point and the thief had made his getaway in a car matching the description of the stolen vehicle.
Several hours later, a man was in the park to view the “blue moon” when he was approached by a teen who asked to borrow his cell phone to call his mother. When the man stood up to get the phone out, another teen approached him with a gun and demanded his property. The man happened to have a legal firearm, so he surrendered it to the teen one round at a time. While a woman near by called 9-1-1, the man administered first aid to the teen he had just shot, but he was unable to save him and he was DRT. 4 other teens have been arrested in connection with the crimes of that day.
In Las Vegas, Nevada, a group of men approached a couple on the street and demanded their property, the man surrendered his firearm one round at a time and another man was DOT at the hospital.
In Tacoma, Washington, a man robbed a woman on the street, but when he was confronted by witnesses, the man pulled out a gun. An off-duty police officer nearby saw the incident and identified himself to the criminal, but had to fire. The criminal tried to drive away, but didn’t get far before he was DOT.

Great way to start the day.
Sounds like Morse code: DOT, DrT, DOT.

or
Dah Dit Dah which is the letter K as in killed.
I guess fear and intimidation just don’t work on some people, eh?
In regard to the ‘blue moon’, it doesn’t actually turn blue. It’s a label applied to the 2nd full moon in one month. Won’t happen again until 2018, I think.
There was one ditzy reporter that remarked during a news show that she really didn’t see much blue, and that it actually seemed yellow or cream colored. Put that is par for the course for the media of today.
It’ll certainly be a Blue Christmas without her…
Nice. 3 less on the streets and on the court dockets. Would we wager that the accomplices of those who bit the dust, are too dumb to realize that they should choose another vocation than this “life of crime”? I have re-arranged my schedule, doing a little run BC, (Before Coffee), so I am reading this while getting myself together, and drinking my Cuban Coffee. In the past I have done some distance running, never for the win, but just for the personal challenge. Having Chronic Bronchitis had brought that to an end. Recently, I started running a little every day, increasing the distance daily. This morning I began doing the run immediately after rising. I knocked out a mile, (pretty good for me), and will increase it each day if possible. Ranger Spayd, http://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=61210, has been an inspiration for a few years now, and if he can fight his disease, I can fight this one. I had a great phone convo with him on Friday, and he thanks us all for the comments on his post, and says that Jonn is in his prayers.
It’s going to be a good Sunday!
Golly, LOL WITHOUT TEARS?
