Sunday morning feel good story
Today’s brief feel good story happened in North Carolina;
Winterville police are investigating an attempted robbery, in which they say the suspect was shot at.
Police say they got the call of an attempted robbery at 611 Main Street Thursday night.
Police say the person inside the home shot at the would-be robber, but it’s unclear if that person was hit.

I’m just waiting for a feel good story to come out of North Carolina that says the recent rash of Krispy Kreme delivery truck jackings has been solved.
Virtually all of the snatch and grab thefts had occurred in a circular pattern surrounding the town of Lenoir and had been happening the closer it got to the end of each month, so local authorities suspected a cash flow problem was the motive.
Conversations such as “Ain’t he Purdy” and “Who’s next in line for the Tossed Salad” have been heard emanating from the local lock-up.
