John Kendrick; phony Navy Special Warfare
Scotty sends us his work on this fellow, John Kendrick, who somehow thinks that pretending to be a SEAL and an interrogator enhanced his position in the community. This is from his LinkedIn profile;
A Navy Captain with more than 30 years of service. Pretty impressive, huh?
Well, the National Personnel Records Center doesn’t see his career that way;
Yeah, with a whole year in the Navy, he got out as a Seaman Recruit – an E-1 E-3. So that’s not much different than being a SEAL with more than 30 years of service, is it?
I think that JCOS in his profile means that he was one of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, not the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) that he intended. I know all of those acronyms can be confusing, John, some of us had to spend more than a year in service to get them all straight in our heads.
Category: Phony soldiers
I see this dipwad lists his Ph.D., Clinical Psychology. Just a Ph.D.? No Masters or Bachelors? This guy must be a fast burner.
I am posting here so all can immediately see – and take action via the e-mail addresses provided to out this dirt bag. Vicksburg Community School (VCS) advertises on their web page they are accredited by National Private Schools Association (NPSA), npsa.accreditation@gmail.com. However, NPSA accredited the Victory Community School of Harrisville, MS, which is a small unincorporated place South of Jackson, MS. I e-mailed NPSA with all of these details and the more that do the merrier to get their attention. John M. Kendrick, PhD, is actually Johnnie Mac Kendrick, and listed in the VCS directory as “Mac Kendrick” instructor. Looks like a family affair with a daughter playing the same name games also involved. Jennifer Renee Kendrick alternates with the first name so I guess it is a family thing. It appears VSC is operated out of Clinton, MS, a town on I-40 west of Jackson, heading towards Vicksburg. While I don’t anticipate the VSC administrator, who replaced Johnnie Mac’s daughter Jennifer (e.g., like my dad, please call me Renee (my middle name) used in my job as enrollment specialist at Mississippi College, a Christian school, in Clinton, MS). She remains listed at VSC under “Jennifer”. Their president’s office e-mail is: carpenter@mc.edu Clay Mansell is publisher of the Clinton Courier and his e-mail is ClayMansell@theclintoncourier.net The Jackson Clarion-Ledger news editor is Debbie Skipper, her e-mail is dskipper@jackson.gannett.com and the paper’s investigative reporter is Jerry Mitchell, jmitchell@jackson.gannett.com The Vicksburg Post news tip e-mail is: news@vicksburgpost.com I packaged up all of the above, attached the TAH documents, provided the URL reference to all postings that follow, and e-mailed the works to all in the hope maybe something will stick. I invite you to join me in shining the spotlight on this phony and be sure to include Johnnie Mac and Jenny (call me Renee) to ensure he knows we are coming at him, and maybe the poor kid does not know her father, could be spouse who knows, is a phony. I know that will hurt the kid but the truth must prevail. When in the heck have you ever seen… Read more »

I use YAHOO as my primary e-mail address.
I’ve tried others, but I keep coming back to YAHOO.
Yes John, but you are an individual not an on-line business. Using Yahoo e-mail is not uncommon for an individual or even a very small business; and I also have a backup Yahoo account. But as a rule, any business with a website will have their own address, usually the business name.com, or a commercial provider address one such as sbcglobal, AT&T or CenturyTel. For an on-line school to only have a free Yahoo account for their entire staff is very unusual and reeks of a low cost less than professional operation. I personally find using my Yahoo account slow, without many features I have from using my sbcglobal account which lets me use Microsoft Outlook.
Hey! He got an NDSM and those are hard to come by!
We have another “PhD” hanging around. Wonder if they both went to the same website to get their diplomas?
Ha! You beat me to it. Well played sir.
I have a Doctorate in Divinity from Thunderwood College. It was a tough one to get too. Took me all of 5 full minutes to get that puppy.
Is that denomination the “Beer Church” I’ve heard of. If so, I need Communion stat!
Dude’s a PhD…hmmm…where have I seen that before? I wonder if he spent the extra 45 bucks for the lab coat? Likee the cheese? Ever been to SWEADEN?
I really like it when a retired Captain in Navy Special Warfare with a PhD leverages their vast experience to become an owner/independent operator with LifeVantage. That just makes me all warm inside.
Now THIS is the personification of a geek.
And when this guy lies, he lies big. Bigger than most fakes, it seems. Having 1 year in service, and claiming 30!!?? What are guys like this thinking?
Simply amazing how many of these butt monkeys have either no service at all, or just a few weeks to a year.
Please tell me he doesn’t have a SEAL trident tattooed on him somewhere….
please tell me we will get to see Don rip this guy a new one? No, dud looks pretty damn frail, Don hitting him with the pissed of CPO voice might cause a heart attack
You guys should leave Egon alone! There was this one time, when we were double-deep in the shit, and he got us all out alive. See, there was this ‘Keymaster’ who had joined up with a ‘Gatekeeper’ and things were looking pretty bad. But then Egon had us cross our streams. It was crazy, because he had just spent the last hour and a half telling us not to do that, right? Still, before we knew it we’re covered in marshmallow goo and dancing with the mayor while the ending credits roll.
Barely a year of service but he somehow managed to compress 30 years into 1 year. Impressive. Did he use a trash compactor to do that?
Just so you all know, when someone lists PhD on a resume, it usually means ‘piled hip deep’. In this case, very true.
“Piled Higher and Deeper” works for me, and I think that sticks to ‘lil John Kendrick (GH!) :D) very well!! I wonder if he’ll join the ranks of the Dutch Rudder Gang?
The confusion is probably because he’s using standard units converted to years…. Where 1 oz equals 30 gram years. Easy mistake for a idiot with a PhD in shit stains.
Not that it matters much at this point, but he was discharged as an E-3 (Seaman, or ‘SN’), whereas an E-1 would have been typed in as ‘SR’ for Seaman Recruit. Also, based on his FOIA/NPRC results that you’ve posted he did serve honorably, graduating from sub school and assigned a sea billet. For whatever reason(s), he was discharged after a short time of active duty service but with no apparent reduction in grade, and like so many others we’ve seen here, decided to embellish a perfectly fine service record. What a shame. I’ll just let GT take it from there.
It looks like he made it through sub school but failed to qualify on his boat. We used to just send those guys off to be non-rate strikers on an oiler, but he must have been a huge POS since they just decided to discharge him.
Aha, you answered my question before I could get it posted!
I notice he didn’t earn his Dolphin badge, which I think generally takes a bit longer than one year of submarine experience to qualify for.
But, you squids would know more about that than I would.
All I know is what I saw on television, and that was a long time ago.
I did get to go aboard a couple of submarines docked in San Francisco when they were having an open house for tourists, the American USS BLUEFISH and the Australian HMAS ONSLOW.
So, we’re not looking at his Record of Assignments, but his Enlisted Performance Record. However, it tells us important things. He left SUB School designated “SU” which means “in training for submarine qualification”. He reported to the USS ULYSSES S. GRANT, which by then would have been homeported in Holy Loch, Scotland and on the regular reporting date for his paygrade (E3) was no longer designated as “SU”, meaning he failed to make significant effort to qualify. Since he has about 12 months to do that, he may have gotten into some trouble in Scotland and been ordered back to the U.S. for outprocessing at Naval Station Charleston, SC. If he’d been simply disqualified, they’d have issued him an “SP” designation and sent him to a tender for a couple of years till he was able to complete his enlistment.
Must have been a real shitbird.
Informed analysis like you did is what I love about TAH. Substantial first-hand knowledge of all types from all services comes into play in outing these pieces of shit imposters. Sierra Hotel!
Eight months between his eval from Sub School (probably a PCS one) and separation in Charleston… you’re right, he probably “dicked the dog” big time at Holy Loch to be separated.
Also, no dates for attending his PhD program at U. of Southern Mississippi? How much would you like to be that he was (1) never enrolled there, or (2) never finished school?
Well, if I was a betting man . . . yeah, that would be my guess too. But I could be wrong.
Here’s some things that jumped out at me, if I read his Page 5 correctly:
He spent five months at Orlando Summer Camp. Even with P-days, etc., anything over 10 weeks seems suspect.
He spent four months in Groton going to BESS, which is normally 8 weeks.
More than likely, he was in off-crew in Charleston awaiting assignment when he got shitcanned.
I’ve heard of boomer guys getting qualified in one patrol cycle, but that includes underway and off-crew. Fastest I ever heard of a fast-boat guy getting qualified was about five months, concurrent with his in-rate watches.
At least that’s how I’m reading it.
A lot of SSBN sailors took more than 1 patrol to qualify for their dolphins but everyone that completes a SSBN patrol earns a patrol pin (SSBN patrol breast insignia).
Paging Doctor Kendrick. Doctor Kendrick. You are needed in the cheese room, STAT!
We already have Dr. Curly. We now have Dr. Larry. All we need now is Dr. Moe.
For duty and humanity!
Damn, I never knew Rick Moranis had a brother who’d served in the Navy . . . .
Being a PHD JSWOC Seal, I presume he also rides and is a member of his mlocal military veteran motorcycle club? Do we have a picture of the de rigueur leather vest festooned with special operations finery?
Most people who GRADUATE actually list their degree with the college/university.
Most people who might have attended for a semester and were invited NOT TO RETURN list a school only. Often it is just a Community College…not that there is anything wrong with that unless you DIDN’T ACTUALLY GRADUATE!
His “current” job(?) or school(?) is listed as Vicksburg Community School Online. Which is a K-12 school.
Which begs the question, is he a teacher there, janitor there, or JUST SOMEONE TRYING TO GET THEIR GED????
Probably the last option…check it out:
http://vicksburgcommunityschools.org/high_school/way-program.shtml
An ONLINE GED program for Vicksburg Community Schools? So is he a teacher or a STUDENT?
Hummmmm.
Noticed on his LinkedIn page that he’s sporting an Active Top Secret clearance.
NO, you’re not, shit-stain.
Two things about that:
1) Someone with a legit clearance isn’t going to post that stuff on social media.
2) If you really had a clearance of any kind while in the military (confidential, S,TS, whatever) it’s admin revoked during most PCS moves and most certainly at ETS. This also includes NPRP and CPRP acknowledgement. You don’t just take it with you. If you’re in a position that doesn’t require it, you ain’t got it.
damn, I didn’t know Stringbean from Hee Haw had a son. What a dipshit
Anyone else notice on his LinkedIn page that he’s touting some kind of supplement called Protandim?
http://www.lifevantage.com/products/protandim/
A quote:
Protandim is a daily dietary supplement that combats oxidative stress through Nrf2 activation.
Oxidative stress is inevitable for everyone.
Protandim significantly reduces oxidative stress through Nrf2 activation.
Nrf2 helps to regulate survival genes.
Looking at the rest of the web pages on that site, it looks, smells, and tastes like just another useless, money-sucking multi-level marketing scheme. Oh, the term now is “network marketing.”
Same shit.
If the antioxidants are supposed to combat aging, his pic demonstrates FAIL.
Shack!!!!!!!!!!
(definition of “shack” – http://www.f-16.net/glossary-S.html)
A future All-Points Logistics Director of Public Affairs.
He’s SO SKINNY someone could stuff a feather up his ass and use him as a dart!
I imagine Phil Monkress at All-Points Logistics will be stuffing something up his ass but it won’t be a dart…..
Ole Johnny Mac is a country bumpkin phony. Wreaking of phony all over him. He probably believes his own bullshit now at this point.
Funny…the facebook page is gone!
You know, I get most of my interweb time at work…hazards of being office bound and all. Plus I like to spend time with the wife, kids and dogs when I am off (Not neccesarily in that order…) so I tend to ignore the spotty internet we have at the house. But I digress…
When I return to work after my off time, I usually check TaH when things settle down a bit. I almost always hope that I don’t see any updates regarding poseur busting…but there are always more. Always. Very sad. I often wonder what their motivation is…sometimes they are Vets who exaggerate their service, sometimes (More often…) they have never served in any way, shape or form. Mental illness must surely play a factor in some…simple smallness/overall lack of character in others.
I wish I could say I have never lied…I would lie to avoid whippings as a kid, then run like hell to avoid whippings for lying in the first place. But that’s kid stuff bullshit…these meatheads are another matter. Perhaps these guys could have used a sapling or 2…maybe 3 laid across their backsides. Maybe a full on beating. Lord knows I got a few.
As entertaining as these idiots are, I really wish they would just stop. All of them. Just give it up…you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free…
He doesn’t have a PhD either. Another pack of lies. He has an associates degree in nursing and lost his license.
