Wednesday Morning Feel Good Story
Today’s story comes from Oklahoma;
Police said the suspect confronted the homeowner with the baseball bat. That’s when the homeowner fired three shots at the suspect, who then ran away.
One neighbor, who lives next to the home that was broken into, spotted a white, older model Volkswagen with a broken window. That neighbor told police it was the first time he has seen that car in the neighborhood.
Shortly after 7 a.m., police said they received another 911 call from the Bryant Square Apartments. This time, a woman told police that her boyfriend came back to their apartment covered in blood. That apartment complex is located just south of where the home invasion took place.
Just before 9 a.m., police confirmed with News 9 that the man covered in blood was indeed the suspect shot during the home invasion.
Mr. Homeowner shot Mr. Criminal three times in the neck and face, but Mr. Criminal is expected to survive according to other reports. Mr. Homeowner needs to get another gun in a larger caliber. Thanks to Chief Tango for the lik as always.

Yep. 3 times in the neck and face with my .45 1911 and Mr. Criminal would be on ice down at the morgue.
Or purchase better ammo and learn to aim center mass. Even a small-caliber pistol can be deadly at close range with good ammunition if you nail the target squarely in the torso.
Old Trooper…My thoughts exactly. More caliber.
Hondo is correct too. A .22 in the right, high velocity cartridge, at that range will make a few trips around the inside of your skull before stopping. But like you, that’s why I keep a .45 in the nightstand (or currently by my recliner) and practice often.
Yep, three shots from a .45 in the head and neck he wouldn’t have a head left !!!
The first one in the neck would rip his head off at the spine !!!
Pellet gun?
