Lewis Byrne; phony Marine POW
Scotty sends us his work on this Lewis Byrne fellow who claims that he was a POW and that he earned a Purple Heart. He lives in Passadena, Texas where he wears phony medals and uses his stories to get discounted stuff.
The truth is that he spent about 45 days in the Marine Corps Reserves. Those 45 days were probably related to his initial entry training.
He may have been injured in basic, which would make it no fault of his that his service was so brief, but that doesn’t give him the right to wear medals that he didn’t earn on his ratty-ass jacket;
Category: Phony soldiers
So, under what circumstances is he alleged to have been a Prisoner Of War? Was it the War On Poverty, Ear On Drugs, or War On Common Sense. Since he has the requisite leather vest and miniature decorations, it’s only a matter of time before he accepts a senior position at All Points Logistics.
#BringElaineRicciHome
It was during his war on the local doughnut shops.
What’s with the $1.98 “Made in Taiwan” fake Indian headdress? Is he making a Native American Heritage Claim like another scumbag previously featured on TAH?
Like many scumbags.
Loser this turd is.
What’s he wearing on his noggin?
I think it’s the new, official gay pride headwear I’ve heard rumors about….
What he is wearing is one of those Made In China cheap chief Indian headress sold in the Truck and tourist shops. I still like to repeatedly throat punch him. Sully my Marine Corps and then add insult to injury claim POW. Joe
Another fat wannabe with delusions of military grandeur.
I’ve been to Pasadena TX a few times. Maybe it was this hoser stinking the place up, and not all those oil refineries. 🙂
Onky a four hour drive to cone up here and get the beating of a lifetime. Call Dennis Chevalier and we could have a “get a beating, earn one for your friend” special.
Dumbass turd, get out of my state. Go take a swim.
Pineywoods NCO…“get a beating, earn one for your friend” special.
That’s a great belly laugh to start my morning! Thank you brother!
Oh, the poor thing. The stress must have done something to his mind.
He has/had a mind?
Scotty is running a special on phony marines (lower case m is not a mistake) this week.Hack, I think you named all his wars . He lost every one of them. Joe
I think he’s winning the donut war. You get one of those hats every time you eat a donut store!
Why does he have a red wing condom on his head?
Camouflage, TC. Camouflage.
When he’s at the birdfeeder stealing sunflower seeds, the female cardinals may be attracted to him and won’t chase him off.
There is a special place in Hades reserved for those who falsely claim Purple Hearts or POW status. This tool did both.
Byrne, you are one low-life sh!thead. You are most cordially invited to go fornicate yourself – preferably with about an 18″ long stalk of fouquieria splendens.
Ocotillo would be nice, but not always available. But a nice, large pineapple, inserted fronds first, is available at any supermarket.
How ’bout 1,000 frozen porcupines up his ass sideways for starters?
Another possibility (purely speculative, but based on evidence at hand) is that this kid was a poolie in DEP hence the Reserves designation, and released versus discharged/separated.
One big clue is the date. September of 1990. Hmmm…what was going on right about that time? Seems to me something big was happening then.
Yeah, just like that fuckstick Cushman. You know, I had just turned 17 when Saddam invaded Kuwait. My master plan was to drop out, take the GED and enlist. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), Household 6 (my mom) put the kibosh on that when she told me point blank that she wouldn’t sign the parental waiver. In the end, I did get my trip to Iraq 18 years later. So here I am running to the guns when losers like this ran away. Fuck this guy, fuck Cushman, and fuck Big Cheese Chevalier.
I was on my first boat, out on Op (read: no contact, etc) until early September 1990. We were getting little blurbs here and there, so basically the first question we had for the folks in Yokosuka when we pulled in was if/when we were heading to the Gulf.
No such luck, however. Even Louisville and Chicago didn’t launch their Tomahawks from the Persian Gulf itself, and they (and I think Pittsburg) were the only boats involved in DS/DS.
A Presidential Recall in Support of OP DES STORM.
Many res types who “did not sign up for this” got out like pussies!
Just sayin’!
MCPO, you mean just like the ones I read and heard about saying the same thing right after 9/11? I read and heard stories about some of those Wussapottamuses bawling while they screeched things like “*WAAAHH*, I joined up for the GI Bill, not this…” among other things, then came the wusses who suddenly became “Conscientious Objectors “,… Not just in the Reserves and NG, there were a number of them on AD as well!
Fuck all of them, I came back in after a nine year break in service hell bent for leather on getting deployed, and did so twice!
Fauxahontos!
I’ll be brief…LEWIS BYRNE IS A DICK SUCKER!!!
(Apologies to the ladies in the room.)
I’ve noticed that a lot of these guys failed in their brief military forays when it wasn’t considered an honorable or desirable career or right of passage and now that our military is more revered than most professions they feel the sting of their failure.
I mean, I went in as a 17 year old in 1977 and none of the guys I knew from HS that went in around the same time ever made it through their first enlistment or if they did, their careers were spectacularly unsuccessful. Back then it wasn’t really a stigma to much of society to have been booted from the military but I’ve noticed now that these same shit birds I knew from back then are the ones with military logos and pictures all over their FB pages and you would have thought they were the epitome of a warrior during their brief careers.
I imagine it must be extremely painful for these guys when asked if they were ever in the military and its almost like they over compensate for their failures. Ever notice how many of these guys are wannabe bikers, have Molon Labe shirts or tattoos, and are almost overly patriotic (in the false sense)in addition to being valor thieves?
I’ve had much the same experience. The honest ones will admit to a deep regret for having never served. But they don’t fake service either.
at the risk of kicking someone’s favorite sacred cow smack in the udder – my pet peeve is the oh-so-pious Vietnam vet who defines his whole life around two years – into which he was dragged kicking and screaming by the draft, otherwise he woulda been out “talkin’ bad about his country and listening to the Rolling Stones” etc. Patches, boonie hats, camo – you’d think some of them were still there.
I have to defend a few draftees, a few good friends of mine served honorably. One as a medic in the field and another as infantry both with the 25th infantry at Cu Chi, RVN. Wolfhounds were in some pretty nasty shit 68-70. Both did extended tours voluntarily. Two years in hell, I think they earn the right to be pious, even though both keep a low profile about their service. I think some REMF guys like to parade around and make noises. A short tour is just as honorable as someone who served longer. When God calls your number, draftee or volunteer, dosen’t matter!
I met this guy briefly at a veterans ride rally a few years ago, Gary Wetzel, check out his story on the net. Only served 4 years.
David…..I was one of those draftees you speak of. Except I did not do two year. I did one year five months and twelve days! Eleven months and twelve days was Vietnam. During that time I was most definitely not in. The rear with the gear.
Am I pious? Not even close. Did being drafted interrupt my life? You bet it did. Am I proud of my Vietnam service? No question.
Being a 11B in Vietnam, most of guys in my platoon were draftees across the board most were pretty sharp guys. Prob. In most cases sharper than a lot of the RA’s in thereafwith the gear!
David…….I guess I’m one of those draftee’s you speak of. Except the pious and serving two years. I served one year five months and twelve days. Eleven months and twelve days of it was in that shithole called Vietnam. Without getting into what I did, most of the time I most definitely was not in the rear with the gear.
Most of the guys I served with were draftee’s. Across the board, pretty sharp. Guys. Probably sharper and more motivated than a lot of the RA types serving in support roles.
Am I pious? No; did being drafted interrupt my life? Hell yes; Am I proud of my Time in Vietnam? Yes
I think you might be the victim of seeing too many movies portraying the Vietnam vet as a troop who comes home and becomes the shiftless vet with nothing but problems. I was discharged Jan.18th. 1972 I was back at school Feb. 1st. I have a BA.
I have yet to speak to the Vietnam vet you speak of.
Sorry for the double post
First off, thanks a bunch for perpetuating the myth that Viet Nam vets are worthless POS’s who can’t take care of their lives and have to live in the past.
Second, I have yet to see, hear of or meet anybody who falls into the “oh-so-pious Vietnam vet who defines his whole life around two years”. If you have, please point them out to me because I want to kick his ass and any others who are enabling him by words or actions.
Yes, I am a Viet Nam vet and yes, you have kicked me in the udder.
Claw…….I hear udder balm is very good for bruised udder. You shiftless, pious Vietnam Vet. Smile
Yep, I know. It’s called “Bag Balm”, it comes in a green can and is available in any farm and ranch supply store. It’s not just for teats, as I use it a lot, especially in the winter on my hands and feet.
Oops, I forgot to ask. How’s your Household 6 getting along? Hope she’d better. Our thoughts are with you.
Claw……it’s about the same. Sleeping a lot. Continuing to lose weight. No energy. Another doctor appointment Feb. 2nd.
Thanks for the thought
His dog tag says: O POS
OUTSTANDING PIECE OF SHIT!
“Outstanding”? Hardly.
Try “odious”.
This crapdoodle probably thinks of himself as a POW because he accidentally locked himself in the meat freezer while pulling KP during boot camp, before he got his ass kicked out of basic training…
When did the Michelin Man join the Village People?
When Aretha Franklin whistled “Dixie” out of her two-hole.
Welcme to the irony Astan and Sandbox warriors. We Nam Vets have more POSs coming each day than the rate we are drying. Go figure. The honest ones NOW will admit their fear, the others will still spew the Lefties solgans at you. Joe
