Wednesday morning feel good story

| December 3, 2014

Chief Tango sends us our feel good story again this morning, this time it’s from Nebraska;

According to Polk County Sheriff Dwaine Ladwig, a call came in at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday reporting that an intruder had entered a residence at Clear Creek East where two juveniles were residing.

After becoming aware of the intruder Ladwig said one of the juveniles fired two shots from a firearm at the suspect. The commotion caused the intruder to flee on foot.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Department and Nebraska State Patrol responded to the scene, with NSP providing an aircraft to aid in the search.

Ladwig reports that the suspect has not been found, and it is not known if the intruder sustained any injuries from the gunfire.
