Tuesday morning feel good story
Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories again, the first is from Alabama;
Police said two gunmen went into the restaurant in the 1800 block of 20th Street Ensley about 6:30 p.m. There were several employees inside, but no patrons, said Birmingham police spokesman Lt. Sean Edwards.
As one of the cooks began to run to the back of the restaurant, one of the suspects pursued him. The suspect shot the employee in the leg as he ran.
The employee returned fire, hitting the suspect in the stomach. Both suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
The employee has been released from the hospital while the crook is in critical condition. So I guess we know who won that skirmish.
The second story comes from Ohio;
Officers said they were called to the 1200 block of Section Road around 1:20 a.m. to find a man who had been shot in the back.
They determined that two men broke into a secure lot on the property, intending to steal items.
A person who leases the property opened fire and shot one of the men, police said.
Short but sweet.
