An armed man in his early 20s is alleged to have breached a secure perimeter at approximately 1:30 a.m. this morning. Agents saw something on the man that looked like a shotgun and a fuel can. He appeared at the north gate where he was confronted by Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The man was declared dead. None of the agents or the deputy were injured. No others were injured.

A man in his early 20s was shot and killed early Sunday after allegedly breaching the secure perimeter of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, the U.S. Secret Service announced.
The Secret Service said the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when the suspect made an “unauthorized entry” at the property.
The individual was observed near the north gate carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel can.
Agents and a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) confronted the man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
No Secret Service or PBSO personnel were injured, and no Secret Service protectees were present at the location during the time of the incident, officials said.
The FBI, Secret Service and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office are investigating, including the man’s background, actions and potential motive, as well as the use of force.

Radio says the man was ordered to drop the weapon, but he leveled it at the officers who then shot him.
He was then “…pronounced dead at the scene.”
Whatever else, those Secret Service agents assigned to POTUS get plenty of range time. I ‘spect the Sheriff’s deputies assigned there do as well.

In the press conference the Sheriff said the suspect was “neutralized”. The pronunciation of death was a tad later.

It seems he was a Trump supporter at one point. His friends said he felt Trump was a ‘strong leader’ — that’s pretty complimentary in this very polarized political world.
That said, since he was also fixated on the Epstein files, it seems like a reasonable explanation is that he went from being a Trump supporter to believing Trump, or people close to him, were involved in a cover-up with regards to Epstein and sex trafficking.
