Sticker attracts drama
Chief Tango sends us a link to a story about Ellen Wilson in Savannah, Georgia who had an “I Love My Soldier” bumpersticker on her car. Some peawit took the opportunity to leave her a note for something she put on her own car;
“So I noticed your “I love my soldier decal. I’m sure he is your “hero” too right? I feel really bad for you and how blind you must be to what is really going on in this country. First off he is not your hero.
Your “man” is a pawn being used in the immoral game of wholesale murder. If you’re aware of the real reason America goes to war (corporate profits) and the role “soldiers” play in making such immoral acts possible. The last thing you would label a soldier is a hero.
There is nothing heroic about blindly following immoral orders from a undeserved paycheck, especially when such orders involve the unnecessary murder of others! It’s people like you and your “soldier” who are destructing our country, shame on you b****! You’re lucky I didn’t slash your damn tires!!”
Now, I could understand it if she was putting those bumperstickers on someone’s car that didn’t belong to her, but it was on her property. And it didn’t say that she loved her “hero”, but that is what this empty-headed cretin went off on. I don’t know why they needed quotes around man or soldiers, either.
It was probably some skank who got kicked to the curb by a Ranger in Savannah once. Stank-ass hippie.

The note sounds like it might be from Hussar’s sister . . . .
Or Hussar…
I agree, it must be Hussar. Let’s get a google.net geo IP locator bot search thingy going!
Now there are accusations that she wrote the note, although nothing definite.
Personally, if there was a security camera around, I’d love to see the tape.
The link supplied in the facebook comment above by Shawn has 2 notes, the one that started all this and another written by the woman who posted it. The writing to me looks absolutely like the same person wrote both.
I am not going to say she is definitely an attention seeking douchebag, but it certainly looks as if that may very well be the case.
“hey, watch me get everyone all riled up, and see if this note can go viral…”

rb325th,
I was just about to post that same link. I’m no expert, but it looks like the same writing to me. I hope she didn’t embarrass herself and her soldier by doing something foolish.
Concur. I’m no expert either, but I’d certainly wager $5 to $10 that they’re the same handwriting.
Exactly. I’d make it my business to do everything I could to come face-to-face with that coward in a courtroom. Or a police station.
And what in the world is going on in Savannah?!
Savannah is home to droves of stank-ass hippies because of SCAD. Bunch of unwashed yuppies living off mommy and daddy. I avoid Savannah proper like it’s new England. I’ll stick to the small towns surrounding it. I can get everything I need without the traffic or hippies.
Lordy…I spent several years there in my teens, because my dad took a job in Savannah. It wasn’t anything like you describe then.
As Roland would say, the world has moved on. Apparently in the wrong direction, too.
thumbs up on the “Gunslinger” reference…
Thats an awfully long note to whip off on the spur of the moment to stick on someones car in a parking lot.
“Destructing our country”? Maybe “Deconstructing our country”

Two words for this person come to mind. Beat Down!
Hoax or otherwise, whoever wrote that shit desperately needs an asskicking.
another day, another attempt at garnering attention and sympathy via the military angle
WTF is this, 1971? If they don’t friggin’ have any sense, can’t left/libtards at least come up with anything more original than crap they heard as little kids?
These things are almost always hoaxes. A real person who thought the way the purported letter writer thinks would not take the time to write such a letter. The fact that it invokes every anti ware stereotype also makes it suspect.
So I’m calling Hoax just like the guy who supposedly got a nastygram from a neighbor about his NRA sticker. Hoax, Hoax, Hoax.
Seriously, people, this isn’t that hard.
Agreed. My B.S. detector was twinging so I didn’t share it, waited to see the fallout. The left is full of hate for sure, but to take the time to write that to put on some stranger’s car? Don’t see it.
That is some really interesting looking handwriting on that note. My brother is a qualified handwriting analysis expert. I am probably going to show this to him and get his take on what’s going on inside the head of who wrote this. He will also be able to tell if the two notes side by side or written by the same person.
I’d certainly be interested in hearing his opinion, cannoncocker. And I suspect I’m not alone.
Hey Hondo, my brother just got back to me. In his professional opinion, it is highly probably that Ellen Wilson authored the note in question. My brother did send me his comparison chart and analysis in PDF form. Not sure how to post it here in the comments, but I can email it. I am going to email it to the admin email address listed in the “Contact us” tab. I’m not sure who all can check that email, I’m sure Jonn does and maybe some others. If you have another email you would like his analysis sent to I can do that for you.
I agree with everybody who’s expressed skepticism. Over the top stuff like this is almost a hoax. There are a lot of vehicles with pro-military bumper stickers. Is it really plausible that someone stopped and took the time to write this long note in response to a fairly typical and vanilla pro-military sticker? I doubt it.
I just hope Ellen doesn’t refer all questions to her attorney. For some reason, I’m thinking of Al Sharpton. I wonder what old fumble lips up to these days.
He is resisting we much!
It has been a while. The Reverend Al “Anything But” Sharp-ton is the gift that keeps giving. And, as you wisely remind us, resist him we much. We will much. About that. Be committed.
