Thursday morning feel good story
Chief Tango sends us our feel good story for this morning, this time it’s from Florida;
Miami-Dade police said the homeowner and his wife were at the home when they heard two men trying to break into the house.
The owner pulled out a gun and shot one of the men, but the other one got away.
The man who was shot was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. His condition was not immediately known.
Category: Feel Good Stories
One of my favorite parts of the stories is the one guy gets shot and the other guy runs away. Friendship only runs so deep with these idiots. So much for the term thick as thieves. Good for the homeowner though.
Climb to Glory…That’s why you never read stories of two veterans breaking into a home. If one is shot the other is in the fight and pulling his buddy to safety while returning fire. They always love to talk about the myth of the crazed vet, gun toting, criminal. Just not reality. News stories are proof positive to me that these are low life, cowardly thugs and never were veterans. The old saying of “honor among thieves” always proves to be BS. The honor lasts until bullets start flying then, hey pal, you’re on your own here. God help the nation if veterans were the crazed monsters liberals portray them to be. There would be a lot more successful crimes committed and dead homeowners. But veterans, by a vast majority (the few nut jobs were nut jobs when they enlisted) are good citizens and remember their oaths and live by them their whole lives.
Hopefully the shot intruder is on his way to room temperature.
