Congrats to the US’ first known suicide bomber
NBC reports that US officials believe that Abu Hurayra al-Amriki will go down in history as the first successful American suicide bomber. Luckily, he did the deed in Syria;
Word of the American’s death in the suicide bombing first surfaced Tuesday in tweets from the al-Nusra Front, an al Qaeda-linked group fighting the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
The tweets identified the bomber only by his Arabic nom de guerre, “Abu Hurayra al-Amriki,” (Abu Hurayra the American) and said he carried out one of four suicide bombings of Syrian government sites in Jabal al-Arbaa’in in Idlib Province — the scene of heavy fighting in recent weeks and months.
“Abu Hurayra Al-Amriki performed a martrydom operation in Idlib, Jabal Al-Arba’een. May Allah accept him,” it said.
Inshallah, dude.
Jihadi tweets suggest the American was of Palestinian descent, sources told NBC News. Experts said that if the account is proven accurate, it would almost certainly be used in future propaganda by the al-Nusra Front, which is on the U.S. terrorist watch list. U.S. intelligence officials said Wednesday that they believe “dozens” of Americans have joined the fighting in the Syrian civil war, with most taking the side of the rebels. It is believed that hundreds of Westerners have taken part in the fighting, according to U.S. intelligence and rebel sources.

One thing that impresses me about these losers is they do love them some jihad. They absolutely suck at it but boy do they come running when the fighting starts. Syria is as good a place as any for them to go and die. It is small, there are lots of weapons available and they can just have at it. If we could convince them to build a fence around it and they could all go there when they get the urge to get killed. We could keep it up and running until they have pretty much worn themselves out. The best line of the day on this knucklehead came from Seth Jones, a terrorism expert at the RAND Corporation who, according to Fox News, told the NYT that these Americans may be “honing their ability to conduct terrorist attacks” to be used in the U.S.

“Okay, it is time for the Americans to return home to carry out Allah’s wishes.”
