Weekend Open thread
I’m sorry, I’ve been wrestling with crocs all day and haven’t paid you the attention you deserve. All will be made clear in a matter of a few days, so be patient. Feel free to cuss me out in the comments below.

Perfect thread to remember to take and flush a big fat Giduck
John Giduck – the fat turd with a face!
Fsckity-Fsck…Don’t forget to wipe your Phil Monkress and flush the All-Points Logistics.
My dog dropped a Phildo on the lawn.
Derby Day- betting on California Chrome! Got him in various exotics and Oaks-Derby bet!
Jonn,
Rum up and light a cigar!
BREAK
Bernath is not, never was nor will he ever be a Genuine or Honorary CPO. PERIOD.
BREAK
We are watching the Derby at our local farm orchard beer garden. My son has 5 bucks on the Irish jockey.
Scored some Mahi-mahi fillets, going to bake ’em with a maple-soy sauce glaze. You’ll need:
1/4 cup maple syrup (real deal, not “pancake syrup” yuk)
2 tablespoons good soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
fresh grated ginger (to taste)
fresh grated pepper (also to taste)
1.In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
2.Place fish in a shallow glass baking dish, and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover the dish, and marinate in the refrigerator 30 minutes, turning once.
3.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
4.Place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and bake uncovered 20 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork.
I’m serving with rice and a veggie stir fry. Works great with tuna and salmon, too. Enjoy!
I came across this dish a few years ago, my family (including young kids) loved it. I lost it much to the angst if my kids. Thank you very much!
Glad to help! Pro tip- sauté the fish in a non-stick skillet, remove, then pour in the remaining marinade over high heat and reduce so it coats the back of a spoon. Pour over the fish just before serving.
Bask in the accolades of the diners.
Will do! I’ll let you know how it turns out.
I now own two Marshall 1959 SPL amps. I have one in my living room siting on a 1960AV cab and the other is in my bedroom sitting on a 1936 cab. For those of you that know how loud these amps are, no, I do not use any pussy-assed attenuators. I use reproduction Tonebender or Fuzzface fuzz pedals to recreate any of the 60’s or 70’s classic rock guitar tone.
Sweet. I’m pondering a Weber 6M45 head kit for my bass rig- after all, the JTM 45 is basically a Bassman.
I’ve also built a 20w Bass & Lead clone inside a small 12″x12″x12″ combo with a single 10″ speaker. Better than most bass practice combos.
One of the first things I do when I buy any Marshall reissue amp is to pull and throw away the OT/PT and go with either Marstrsan or George Metropoulos spec transformers. The modern Dagnalls that Marshall use’s today in their reissue amps are not even close to the original Dagnall’s of the 60’s and early 70’s.
Because for the simple reason that I can’t solder to save my life, I buy used Marshall’s and just upgrade the transformers and be done with it.
Wheeeeeeeee! Hubs got tickets to see Ottmar Liebert in June!
Happy weekend everyone 😀
Here’s one for PH2 – https://shine.yahoo.com/pets/14-things-cat-owners-know-true-131100752.html
All of it is true.
All very true.
SMA Chandler wants “No Tab Left Behind”.
http://hitthewoodline.com/military/2014/4/30/army-introduces-no-tab-left-behind-program
ROTFLMAO! That’s Duffel Blog-quality stuff!
Korea95…I am reading along kinda laughing until I get to the “Obama’s Hundred” tab, them I fell off the chair laughing. Good one.
That’s funny, I don’t care who you are.
Re: “wrestling with crocs all day”
That a new name for Chevy? I hope so. Chevy needs some Plt Sgt extra training.
Playing with a 5 week old kitten we rescued this week. She was tangled in debris under the trailer next door. Very cute and playful now.
Oh and Jonn… You bastard.
This is a totally random, unsolicited, unsponsored public service reminder to all TAH denizens that clicking on the ads and/or shooting him a few sheckels helps him pay for the web site and other expenses associated with exposing Stolen Valor asswipes.
To any of you Stolen Valor asswipes who think that Jonn is making big $$ (or even little $$) from running this web site, the following acronyms apply to you:
WTF. YGBSM. STFU.
If you don’t know what one or more of those acronyms mean, by all means please feel free to jump into this thread and ask. We will gladly go down to ‘crayon level’ to ‘splain’ it to you (as Ricky Ricardo would say), and we’ll even give you a free dose of GFY as our way of saying “thanks” for dropping by.
A free dose of GFY? That would be “gooey fresh yogurt,” right?
Marine_7002…Thank you sir. Well said and a good reminder.
Fresh off of their Monsters Of Cocks Tour, Phony Phil Monkress and the All Points-Logistics Experience.
That’s right folks, Phony Phil and his Felonious Friends are wrapping up their World Wide Tour of Monsters of Cocks.
For a limited time only, you my friends, can purchase his controversial and lees-than-contemporary album, “Meatpoles and Manholes.” You heard that right; and for the low price of $19.99, you can bring his bullshit,er…I mean songs, into your home.
Some of the greatest tunes to date by not only Phony Phil, but his Felonious Friends: Daniel Bernath and the Rectal Re-Sizement Project, Gay Jay Kerwin and the Juicyfruits, Chevy and the Cheese, Bob “The Maggot” Hay and Scum-ba-lie-ya, Bill Blake and the New Kids on the Block and last but not least, Burrell and the Backdoor Band.
Songs include:
Fraudulent Son (sang to CCR’s Fortunate Son- of note, plagiarism is not an issue for these “artists”)
Meatgazer (sang to Ozzy Osborne)
Taxpayer Blues (with Bob “The Maggot”)
Cherokee Nation
The Ballad of Phil Monkress (also known as Phildo’s Song)
Looking in my Backdoor (with all of the above collective)
Stealing ain’t Easy
First Nation; First Paycheck
Cops and Robbers (with Bob “The Maggot” Hay)
Popinjay (with Jay Kerwin and the Juicyfruits/also known as “Stay Out of my Jay”)
Backdoor Lover
A Man Called Sue (with Dan Bernath)
Lick It Up (collective)
Men of Inaction (with “Ranger” Burrell)
Meatpoles and Manholes
Gay Cheese (with Chevy-lair)
Have a Drink on Me (with Paul [of the Ballsack -Special guest])
Turd in the Sky
It was not me! (collective)
18 and Life to Go (collective)
Down on the Corner (with Bill Blake)
And many more….!
Hurry up and order while supplies last! Never in your lives again will you see such a collection of talentless assclowns.
Folks, the time is now!
Yeah, yeah that’s cool, Green Thumb. I’ll buy all of them. I hear the Chico White Sox are having another record demolition soon; they’ll be needing lots of fuel. I can’t imagine a more fitting fate for the high points of the careers of such distinguished artists.
Is it available on 8-Track tape.
Available in LP, Cassette, and 8 Track.
BUT WAIT! If you order before midnight, we’ll include VHS/Beta of the concert recorded live at Red Cocks Amphitheatre!
With the bonus hits:
Friday is for Floppers
I Can’t Drive 55 (or drive at all).
I heard that there is a hidden track, “One Bourbon, One Scotch, And One Beer (Theme To APL). And if you play “A Man Named Sue” backwards, you can distinctly hear “I am not, nor have been, a Chief Petty Officer.”
Word on the street also has it that the “Big Dawg” could have a bonus tune or two with his “Freestyle Military-Poser-Hip-Hop Rap”.
That might be a question better suited for their (The All-Points Logistics Experience) “defacto” manager, the Dishonorable Colonel.
He seems to care less about this nonsense (Phildo’s claims) as long as he gets paid.
I think this is the most I’ve seen Mr. Succinct post! You a funny man Mr. Thumb! 🙂
Green Thumb…MAN I need that 800 number like NOW!!! I got he phone in my hand waiting to dial. Gotta have this in my collection. They won’t last long folks!
**Fanguurrlling Green Thumb**
*Swooooooooooon* 😀
Well, my eight-year old little sis got her first communion today. She was adorable in her little white dress 😀
HS … That is Outstanding. My eight year old is on for 18 May. We went to confession and Mass at 5 now we are betting on the Derby!
Tell him good luck for me, MCPO. It’s a big milestone in every young Catholic’s life.
Just wanted to drop in and say hello to all of you and let you all know that my unit completed pre-mob training and we are now at Ft. Bliss (Camp McGregor) in the lovely New Mexico desert. Time is getting short now and I am looking forward to going downrange. Just trying to get used to this elevation (4700 feet above sea level). What am I, a fucking mountain goat?
🙂
Anyway, I’ll be checking on the status of those clowns we all know and love and dropping a comment from time to time. Take care and keep up the good fight.
Sending light and love to you, your family and Troops Lt…be safe.
I can remember way back when it was known as McGregor Range in the mid 80’s. I did my basic/ait at Ft. Bliss and I have rather fond memories of McGregor range for my 2 week field training exercise during basic. We did all of our air defense missile shoots from their also.
Godspeed, Mustang2LT.
I won’t tell you to “stay safe”. You can’t do that and do your mission; the enemy has a vote in that.
What little advice I can give is this: don’t take any foolish risks, and don’t let your soldiers do so. Do that, and you’ll bring as many of them home as possible.
And if you need to vent, remember we’re here.
Best of luck; please keep us posted. “And hey – be careful out there”.
And stay low.
Keep your eyes open, head on a swivel and best of luck, LT.
“What am I, fucking a mountain goat?” Man, switch two little words and see what happens? And, M2LT, what you do for fun is really none of our business. Really. None.
Rounds on target. Bring them all home!
I’ll be sending happy thoughts for your family troops and you. God’s speed and the angel’s luck to you all!
Stay safe, dry and warm. And come back in one piece.
Regardless of all the baubles the Army will give you for completing a tour the best reward is coming home with everybody you went over with.
Good luck!
Godspeed and Good Hunting!
All best for a successful tour, LT.
“Just trying to get used to this elevation (4700 feet above sea level).”
Mustang 2LT, where do you live? 4000-4500 feet is my normal day-to-day living altitude here in SLC. Drive up to Park City and add another couple thousand feet.
Chicago area….about 4000 feet down from this. I did a little 4.5 mile run and I felt it a little bit compared to home. I am getting acclimated though.
Like everyone else said, stay as safe as you can, and come home like you left, with everyone you left with.
Go do great things, and we’ll await your safe return. HOOAH!
Mustang2LT…All the best to you LT. God speed and my prayers go with you and your troops.
Stay safe Lieutenant!! Fair winds and following seas!
Just got back from the Travis AFB airshow. Man was that inspiring! We truly live in a wonderful nation and still have a lot of incredible young folks serving. I talked to several recent vets from the last 10 years, very encouraging and humbling. So many have sacrificed so much and continue to do so.
I am still proud to be an American, the current administration not withstanding.
God Bless the USA!
RM3(SS)…Hey were the Tops In Blues There?
LOLZ! Ouch…Sonuva…That’ll leave a mark.
You and your unit will be in my daily prayers, Mustang.
BREAK
As of 0800hrs Monday morning, yours truly (me) am gainfully employed again so I contribute my fair share to those depending Obama’s Care and Department of Wealth Redistribution(DoWR). Speaking of which, we had two of ’em got sent to the hospital yesterday. I’ll send the details to Jonn. One tried to outrun the poleece and isntead got that infamous PIT manuever, came out firing and recieved his dose of lead pills. Alive and we are paying for his vaca at the hospital .
Another one, probably part of the car chaase tried shooting it out downtown (small Joja town) with every cop on the face of this planet. Word on the street is, he is awaiting those infamous words his boy, Obama. “If I had a son, he’d”…
Congrats on re-entering the taxpaying world! No one likes taxes, of course, but I’ve always said I’d rather have the money and pay taxes on it, than not have the money in the first place.
Yes sir, MrBill! Thanks!
Congrats Streets, on the theme you posted, there was this: a douche tried to rob a Long John Silver’s at 11pm or so, and wound up on a slab in somebody’s morgue. http://woodtv.com/2014/05/03/man-dies-after-attempting-to-rob-store/
Thanks, UpNorth! That’d be a good one! Nobody injured, either!
Cracked the code on my Ruger Mk III target pistol. Again. Field stripped it for a cleaning- the thing is a Rubik’s Cube getting back together, but I won in the end. And with the red dot sight on top and all the Volquartsen goodies inside it’s a joy to shoot. Therapeutic range day scheduled for tomorrow, and MotoGP is on the DVR. Steaks on the grill and bourbon and stogies after. Tomorrow will be a good day!
What’s on your schedule?
I’ve only ever taken mine apart once. When I got it back together, it wouldn’t. Fire. I took it to a gunsmith and it took him 5 hours to fix it.
Let me guess; either the main spring housing would only partially open, or the bolt wouldn’t cycle more than about a 1/2 inch.
Or both.
Jonn, When you reassemble the Ruger MK3,invert the pistol to close and secure the locking mechanism.I learned this little trick after several tries.

Handy tips for the Ruger Mk II/III
Hmmmm …. I never had that problem with the M1911A1 ….
(^___^)
Hooah!
AAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKI, that is why I have a Browning Buckmark. Too bad Ruger could not make the MKII & MKIII pistols as simple and easy as their 10/22 rifles.
I’m ashamed to say all the mods I’ve put into my 10/22 cost more than the rifle did. But she’s a tack driver!
I don’t think there is any other rifle in existence that has more aftermarket gear available than the Ruger 10/22, it’s the ultimate plunker! I’ve had mine for over 20 years, I’ve probably shot over 50,000 rounds out of it, and she’s still a champ!!
Now if 22LR ammo could just become more available..
Yeah, Buckmark for me, too. And for the same reason. Now if I could only find a reasonably priced PMR 30.
Here, here. I have a dandy new Buckmark camper with cocobolo grips and it shoots like a dream. Now, if I could just lay on a little more .22lr ammo.
Gunbot.net is your friend.
Just woke up from my “nap” to learn my daughter had her first driving lesson today. The gate is a little bent and the dog looks nervous. I think it went well.
I gave my MK III to a friend who is a cop. I told her to have her MP husband take it apart and clean it for her 🙂
I’ve not heard from either since… hmmm
I know you guys know a lot about guns, but does anyone know any thing about bow and arrows? That is what I’ve asked for a Mother’s Day gift (not sure if they are taking it seriously) so I need a “jumping off” point. Or advice.
Just like a gun question, what do you want to do with it? I’m no expert but I know folks who are.
I want to just target practice with it. I don’t plan on hunting or competing. I’m pretty good with a gun so I want to see how the 2 compare. I am not very good at all with a sling shot, despite my Mom trying to teach me. I’m just wondering how all these “target” type weapons compare and if you’re good with one type are you going to be good at other types.
I’ve tried sling shot like I said not to great, but good with gun and kinda ok with throwing knives and stars. Meaning I hit near where I aim without mauling myself, that squirrel wasn’t so lucky, but that’s a joke and not true.
20-25 lb draw wood recurve would be a great place to start for plinking into paper targets in the backyard.
Pity. Squirrel’s good eating.
Go to Bass Pro Shops. They have recurve bows. There’s one where you live.
http://www.basspro.com/Vista-Monarch-63-Recurve-Bow/product/14032109213515/
or this one: http://www.basspro.com/PSE-Archery-Razorback-or-Razorback-Jr-Recurve-Bow-for-Youth/product/10206594/
Get target arrows, not broadheads. Wear an armguard.
And don’t scare the neighbors.
I’ve got a 20 pound compound bow , on the list. Thanks doll!
Unless it’s an emergency ALWAYS wear an arm guard, string slap smarts. Depending on the draw/hold weight it can break skin. Not to intimidated, bow shooting is fun, if like all things you pactice good safety techniques.
I think you could handle a 35-pounder.
You have kids. And a dog.
I thought I’d be safer moving to a small town then when I lived in the ghetto. I had to call 911 again last night on a different neighbor (I had to call last Saturday after a gun fight broke out at a 16 year old’s birthday party). A 23 year old girl went out got drunk and when she refused to go home with either man she was with they drove her home threw her out of the car, hitting her in the face with the door and then tried to run her over 3 times. This all happened in her front yard where her parents were home but had locked her out for being late and refused to help her. Both times it took over 25 mins for police to get here. We have 1 deputy on duty in town so they wait for county to come. Good thing I’m getting my CC the 6th.
Believe it or not I am still amazed at how evil people can be to each other especially to their children. I don’t know why it still surprises me at 40 but it does. Different era I guess.
I hit submit to soon. Anywho!
I brought the girl to my house gave her first aid and kept her here until the police came. Turns out everyone in the car was wasted under age and had a DUI already. I thought the girl was going to jail also. She was out on bond for VOP and abusing 911. The guys came back 3 times and did donuts in front of my house, until my 6’3 265lbs hubby invited them in.
Then what happened?
Oh, the guys took off after the confrontation. Then cops came took statements, girl’s friend came and picked her up and I got a very weird and strangely long hug. Watched True Blood season 3 ate some oatmeal and cookies and now going to bed. (You didn’t mean everything that happened afterwards did you?) Haha! Talk to you tonight, if I wake up before to late. Toasty I’ll talk to you also. (Days and nights are mixed up due to sick kids, I’ve got night shift)
I always want every detail, every time.
Not just that bullets whizzed past your front porch, but the number and size of the bullets, what kind of gun, who ran his mouth about it, and how many gophers died.
Her parents let her back in this morning. She’s outside doing massive amounts of yard work, with a hangover. I don’t know if I should feel bad for her or have her come weed my flower gardens. Hehe!
Have her weed your flowerbeds. Then you can find out why she drinks like a longshoreman on leave. Maybe she’ll stop.
Were they real cops? Or like Phil Monkress and Chevy?
BREAKING NEWS:
Bernath is not, never was nor will he ever be a Genuine or Honorary CPO. PERIOD!
That is all!
*Rustle Rustle*
Whoosh!
Oh, the stories I could tell… but they can wait. 😉
I was walking down the street downtown this morning and I saw a pile of vomit (I assume from last night).
I thought of Paul (of the Ballsack) Wickre.
Green Thumb…I went out to check the sprinklers this morning and the neighbor’s dog and taken a big dump on my lawn. (Which I will be talking to him about later) But…I had the same thoughts. Plus I thought…this is the staff of All-Points Logistics in…one concise, steaming pile.
One concise, steaming pile.
Hmmm….not like anything that comes from the mouth of Dennis Chevalier.
That’s a dump truck full of steaming something or another.
Word.
Well, He IS a Human Blobfish, and Blobfish just prowl along with minimal effort waiting for their next meal to drop in front of them, There’s NO TELLING how foul a Blobfish’s excreta is!!
Three gunships went woppiting over my house in formation a few minutes ago. Must be drill weekend or something. I wasn’t quick enough on my feet to get pictures.
Next time, I’ll be out the door before the cat can lick it’s ear.
If anyone is interested QVC is honoring Ft. Leonard Wood this weekend.
Just had two chinooks fly over my house. Prob. On a training mission up to Yakima Wa.
The Blue Angels are at an air show a few miles from my house, I’ve been watching for them to fly over all weekend. I loved seeing them as a kid, heck I love it now!
Valkyrie The first time I saw an Air Force Thunderbirds show was at Donaldson AFB Greenville, SC and they were flying F-100 Super Sabres. Long time ago!
I used to live close to Napier Field in Alabama. And my real Dad use to do the A/C work at different bases and sometimes we got to travel with him. I think the way we were treated and the private tours of the planes we got as kids started my fan girling of the Military along with the air shows. It’s an amazing feeling to have those jets fly over and to feel the roar of them. I have the autographs of the pilots of either the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels, from the early 80’s somewhere.
The air show was canceled due to heavy rain and flooding parking lots. My son was going with my Dad, I don’t know who was more disappointed between the two.
You guys live very interesting lives. The closest thing I have to excitement over here is a Concert in two hours and AP tests this week and the next.
FW, I live near and work at NAS Patuxent River, MD, the Navy’s East Coast RDT&E base. Every day is an airshow, love it. Navy Test Pilot School is here, and they get some cool toys to learn on. I was in the pattern once in a P-3 and heard over the radio we were number two behind a MiG-21 on final. Never thought I live to hear a P-3 pilot say, “Tally, MiG-21 in sight.” Fox-2 or going in for guns? 😉
Oh, that is so cool!
I’ve always wanted to learn to fly. My eyes keep me from military aviation, though I like to think I have the instincts for flying a fighter.
My eyes kept me out of a military cockpit also, but while I was on active duty I went to a nearby airport, got an introductory flight lesson at the airport’s fixed base operator, and 8 months later I had my pilot’s license.
Try it. You’ll love it!
Interesting life? My day will be spent cleaning the stove, raking the dead grass out of the lawn, and folding laundry.
Then I can reheat the chicken and pasta aiolio from Friday, or make something else like Spam hash. (Spam, potatoes, onions, dice, skillet, cook, add parsley serve.)
17 states, coast to coast to gulf, 15 k miles I am done with my vacation.
2 Plus moths on the road, 7 k in damage to the camper from a mishap on dionner pass. I met allot of great people, the wonder dog is asleep and I will be too very soon.
I have a bunch of pics and several ideas about something to write
enigma4you…Glad you’re home safe!
Donner Pass.
Did you hit any vineyards?
enigma4you…Green Thumb reminded me.
Donner Pass.
Was anyone eaten?
Forgot 😀 😀 😀
Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
Welcome back, enigma4you. Glad to see the trip was without further excitement.
— break —
Ex-PH2: excitement is highly overrated.
Regarding the hash, maybe a green pepper and a bit of garlic power (or minced garlic), too? (smile)
It needs something to tone down the saltiness Spam has built into it. Haven’t got that part figured out yet. But adding garlic powder and peppers works.
Add some diced beets. It’ll offset the saltiness perfectly.
Red flannel hash. 🙂
Y’ever try a hint of jalapeno or habanero with it? I like the two mixed with some chipotle thrown in!!
Proud, that would set my mouth on fire. It would intefere with important things.
(There are so many jokes I could throw in here, y’know.)
Try sliced kielbasa instead of spam- works great with the taters and onion when fried up in a cast iron skillet.
I put the kielbasa in the pot of bean soup I made Saturday. Spam is in the cupboard.
I think maybe don’t use the whole can, just half, diced small and use the rest for scrambled eggs.
Send the Spam back to the Islands.
Grew up on it.
Done with that.
Maybe just a dash after mixing them? Me, I got used to hot foods when I worked with a crew of Cajuns one time. They seem to believe that if it doesn’t make you sweat and fart flames, it ain’t worth eatin’!
Trick is the potatoes.
It is lovebug season, affectionately known as fuckbugs here! This is bad news for drivers and people who sit outside with long hair. I have to have my kids pick through my hair like baby gorillas before I go inside. Although my cat loves it if I bring a couple inside.
“Lust-Bug” season, great, gotta wash the pickup every 3 or 4 days, lest their acidic body fluids pit my paint!!
Yep! They ruined my first car.
Yeah, I know. The damn things have such an acidic body chemistry, no insectivore native to north America will eat them!!
Wet dryer sheets, rubbed gently on their dead carcasses, will remove them. Without harming your finish. I spent 20 years in FL before I got smart and moved to TN.
Yup, it’s a drill weekend. But with a day of AT on either side, I’m doing a 4-day stint. Back to my regular job on Tuesday.
SD
Finally I got to get on the computer. I’m fine.
Heard about the breast reduction, hope it is going well… Take some motrin and drink more water!
And take a knee.
Damn! Had me concerned there for a few seconds.
Good to hear, take good care of yourself.
Spent the weekend polishing my bullets, sharpening my knives and preparing my Ninga Warrior Troop Squadron Unit Battalion for deployment to the western regions of Gohfukyurselph …
I have a confession to make:
Last night, during a lull in bullet polishing activity, I watched the WH Correspondants Dinner on CNN (they covered the event like it was the Oscars).
This is what I learned:
1. Everyone hates CNN.
2. Most everyone hates MSNBC.
3. FoxNews was called out several times, yet NOBODY called out the stories they are covering.
4. POTUS crashed hard.
5. The MC (some punk kid from E Network who did not even prepare) was even worse.
BLUF: I learned NOTHING!
Sorry for watching and I will do 5 Our Father’s and 10 Hail Mary’s.
Boring as usual, huh?
You already did penance by watching it. And not making rude comments that go with the way they all flap their lips.
Here’s a clip from when we had a POTUS with real class:
MCPO: …Sorry for watching and I will do 5 Our Father’s and 10 Hail Mary’s….
In Latin!
Pater Noster qui es in caelis …..etc, etc
Ave Maria gratia plena ….etc, etc
Oh … and end with Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto, …
Begin!

Lest we forget, the price of gas has not retreated to its earlier status. It’s not for lack of supply (see article at link), or even the price of ethanol.

It’s just plain ol’ corporate greed because the millenials don’t drive as much as us old f**rts do. They ride bicycles and roller skate instead, or they use them there new-fangled electrick horseless carriages. Or they take the bus or trains. So, not only are the millenials and the generation a bunch of slackers about work (with exceptions, of course), they’re also a bunch of slackers about other really, really important things.
Apparently the snot-nosed little glitter-farting tinsel mice Sparkle Pony snowflakes think that everything that’s not handed to them on a silver Platter “SUCKS”!
Dude! It is Bush’s fault. Everyone that is not a racist knows that! Over

I anticipate another one of Mayor Rahmbo’s wonderful buy-back events, during which not one weapon used by drug dealers or gangbangers will be turned in for a cash-in. Even though El Chapo Guzman (Sinaloa) has been caught and jailed, Sinaloa still has its tentacles in the entire drug industry in the US.

Through a generous donation of the John Kautz family (Ironstone Winery), our Memorial has doubled in size and will now have a bronze statue of a 173d soldier as it’s center piece.
If anyone is interested, email me at Lew.Monell at gmail dot com. Hope to see you there.
And for you who were wondering – yes, THAT Calaveras County. The Frog Jump is the week before our ceremony.
Hi, I posted this on my facebook page earlier tonight, but I thought I would share it with you fine people. I know even if I serve for another 27 years, I will never be able to give back as much as I’ve received from this Great Country. Another great drill weekend with the National Guard. 27 years ago on May 4th, 1987 I enlisted into the Guard with very little expectations beyond doing something different & fun on the weekends, and to make a little extra money. If you had told me that almost 30 years later I would still be doing this, I would have thought you were nuts. If you had told me I would be a Sergeant First Class, I would have known you were nuts. But I’m still here and thanks to the amazing people I’ve served with, I have a great civilian career, a beautiful wife & family, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. I still have a few more years left in me before I hang up my uniform for good. Thank you to all those I’ve served with: Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines, and our NATO and ISAF allies. And thank you family and friends who’ve supported me. I’m still having fun. Goodnight TAH friends.
