“There are plenty of rich people that we can tax…”
Barney Franks is catching whatever it is that’s afflicted Joe Biden. DrewM. at Ace of Spades posted this video from an interview Franks did with Maria Bartiromo on CNBC yesterday;
In the video, Franks says that “there are plenty of rich people we can tax down the road” to pay back another $300 billion he wants to use to bail out the economy. In other words, his thirst for more control over the economy hasn’t been slaked quite yet. That’s your money he’s talking about so cavalierly.
And no one has answered my question about who they consider rich. When Bill Clinton promised a middleclass tax cut, he raised taxes on social security recipients.
I’m getting the feeling that Democrats think they’ve won this race and that they can say anything they want. They abandoned any appearance of being Americans and since the media won’t report any of their mistakes and missteps, they’re showing us their collective ass.

Yes and he also has more money than a lot of the people he wants to tax thinks he doesn’t have to report income from a rental property he owns in the Dominican Republic. Huh, go figure, double standards from the left.
