Sunday morning feel good stories

| March 9, 2014

Our first story this morning comes from South Carolina where a 76-year-old heard someone trying an alternate entryway to his home;

Just after midnight on Wednesday morning, a 76-year-old homeowner on Edisto Avenue was awakened by someone breaking a window in the front of his home, according to a sheriff’s report. He went downstairs and saw someone reaching through the window to unlock the door.

The homeowner got his gun and fired a single shot at the suspect, the report stated. He believed the bullet struck the suspect in the right hand because he saw the suspect’s right hand bleeding.

The man’s vehicle had also been broken into, and officers reportedly found blood inside the vehicle.

Chief Tango sends us another story from Alaska where two rambunctious youths entered a home with their firearms drawn;

Fairbanks police say Chester Clifton Fields Jr. and an accomplice, 21-year-old Isaiah Cross, on Feb. 25 entered an apartment at Wedgewood Resort with guns drawn with the intention of robbing people inside.

Police say Fields fired a 9mm handgun that hit one of the apartment occupants.

Cross was carrying only a BB gun. He was struck by rounds fired by the 30-year-old man injured by Fields. The man suffered a bullet to his spine but is expected to survive.

Fields was arrested within blocks of the apartment.

Center of mass, center of mass, center of mass! Only Hopalong Cassidy and the Waco Kid shoot for the bad guys’ hands!!

Sparks

MAJMike sir, you are right, two center mass and if they even wobble, one to the melon.

I loved Hopalong Cassidy and The Cisco Kid but they were wrist shooters from way back. I used to love seeing the bad guys, fling their guns, grab their wrist like they were bee stung and NO BLOOD, cause in the next scene or maybe next episode, there they were, same gun in the same hand Cisco had winged ’em in. Those were the days MAJMike. Wish we had ’em back again!

MajMike,
I thought it was “head and hips, hips and head”?

MAJMike

My OSUT Drill Sergeant taught us center-of-mass, second most useful thing I learned in Basic Training (using a floor buffer was the most useful).

And the second story.
Alaska? Really? Where there are more guns than people, and anyone who WANTS to carry, does, and no one cares.
Such stupid f**ktard criminals need to be cloroxed from the gene pool as quickly as possible, before they breed their stupid genes on to the next generation.

NHSparky

It amazes me that they’d come to a gunfight armed with a BB gun. That right there is just begging to be removed from the gene pool.

jonp

Jesus, that tard didn’t even bring a knife to a gunfight.
