It gets even better. She’s also a naturalized US citizen.
In fairness, you can’t blame that last on the current Administration. She was naturalized in 2004. Given the 5-year waiting period and the fact that she spent 10+ years in an Israeli prison starting in 1969 (she got a life sentence, but was released to Lebanon during a “prisoner swap”), that means she came to the US while Clinton was POTUS or earlier.
Further, the lady apparently has multiple aliases. I’m guessing she was pretty well trained in hiding her past.
She was convicted of participating in multiple terrorist bombings in Israel in 1969 for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Two Israeli college students were killed in those bombings.
She’s currently under indictment for lying on her US Citizenship application, so her US citizenship may go out the window soon. If convicted, she’s facing more time. Still . . . .

Why her past wasn’t discovered previously is anyone’s guess.

State department vetting Fail? And they want to let in several hundred thousand more from the middle east. Humanitarian my butt. If only one in a thousand middle eastern refugees is bent we are in for a real mess. Bad enough the converts make jihad against us, what will happen when the hard core trained terrorists arrive? Time perhaps to rethink any more immigration from that benighted region.
Personally, if I was a Human Resources manager, I’d strive to fill as many positions with jihadis as possible. That sort of drive to succeed, even in the face of adversity like Hellfire Missiles or Sayeret Matkal, is what makes a go-getter employee. They also show creativity and out of the box thinking in achieving their goals, such as their usage of many different household materials to make bombs. For these reasons, jihadis have spearheaded many successful businesses, such as APL.

On Topic…no one is really surprised right? This administration and the previous couple were not models of efficiency and excellence. Of course the current administration is working hard to make the Carter administration appear as one of the better ones of the last century…they won’t succeed at that but they will place their own beneath Carter’s certainly.
