Larry Edward Schlesinger; phony SEAL (?), jerk, bully

Scotty sends some work that Mary did a while back on Larry Edward Schlesinger. Scotty says that he’d forgotten about the clown until he had contact from a lawyer yesterday who threatened to take him to court, because Little Larry never claimed to be a SEAL. Larry once had his wife threaten Mary with a lawsuit, but, Larry’s wife wasn’t a lawyer, so Mary filed a complaint with the Virginia Bar which slapped Larry’s wife’s wrist and threatened to incarcerate her and fine her if she did it again.

Anyway, here’s Larry’s DD214;

Yup, no SEAL training, * {See Below} just a medic stationed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station hospital. But as far as Larry not claiming he’s a SEAL, well, that’s true today, but while the lawyer was threatening Scotty yesterday, this was on Larry’s LinkedIn profile;

So, Larry retaliates by posting Wittgenfeld’s crap all over Scotty’s blog. I just had an interesting conversation with Larry on Facebook in which he hints that he suffers from PTSD, you know from his grueling 2 1/2 years at Pensacola NAS. He has a pretty extensive criminal history, which the lawyer says isn’t him. Then why should he worry, right? Except if you look at the picture of him in his website’s logo, that sure looks like the mugshot guy.

But, yeah to save time, I won’t take calls from any lawyers in regard to this post. You should just go ahead and email my lawyer at; seaveyattorney[at]gmail[dot]com.

UPDATE: I checked with Don Shipley, and it turns out that Larry did attend SEAL training, but he washed out pretty early. He’s fairly well known in the Little Creek/Norfolk area for pretending he’s a SEAL.

TSO Writes:  Schlesinger and his people are threatening to sue us.  I’m still not entirely sure what for, and I have a call in to his attorney.  I don’t see any false statements of fact in here.  Larry claimed on his LinkedIn profile that he was a member of BUDs class 252.  What he failed to mention is that he washed out.  Leaving it in there, while it is true, is clearly calculated to make people believe he graduated.  By way of example, when I was in law school I was selected to represent my school at a Yale Law Forum on the International Criminal Court.  If I put on my LinkedIn page that I “went to Yale” it would technically be true.  I went there once for a function.  But it leaves the impression I graduated from Yale.  I did not.  For some reason his people are demanding the whole page come down, essentially because of some things Scotty says.  But we aren’t Scotty.  I can’t find any false statements of fact anywhere here, certainly nothing that the court in Gidduck said wasn’t allowed.  (Admittedly that was a Colorado case, but the First Amendment grounds there will apply here as well.)  Apparently they are upset that Jonn quotes Shipley as saying “He’s fairly well known in the Little Creek/Norfolk area for pretending he’s a SEAL.”  That is the word from Don Shipley.  We know Don, and trust Don.  We include it here not to assert the truth of that statement, but rather that Don tells us that is the case.  If they really intend to sue, they will have to prove we have no basis for saying that Don said that.  That will be tough to do.

Interestingly, either Schlesinger, or people under his control are guilty of violating copyrights.  You will notice that this post was Jonn’s, not mine, and I hadn’t said anything.  Nonetheless, a Facebook Page by Schlesinger or his people (here) uses a picture from my Facebook page.  They also use pictures of Jonn and Scotty.  They are probably on safe ground with the picture of Jonn, since it appears to be a screen cap, and thus not Jonn’s copyright.  But mine, there is no Fair Use argument in the world that would allow that one.  Again, I didn’t write anything about this, I’m apparently included for the crime of being Jonn’s lawyer.

For that crime, I am “dishonorable” and everyone should unfriend me on Facebook, because you could be next.  Um.  Really?  Let me make this easy, if you are my friend on Facebook, have committed crimes in the past, and have ever claimed or intimated that you were a Navy SEAL, excepting if you actually graduated from BUDs, then yes, please unfriend me.  Otherwise, you are safe.

Hoping to hear from the attorney sometime soon, as I leave tomorrow for my trip to Greenland.
