Officer Scott Krissinger saves man in burning truck
This story is from Cape May, NJ where Officer Scott Krissinger’s dash cam caught him as he heroically pulls 61-year-old Gerald K. Ferrill from his burning truck. I can’t write much that you won’t see for yourself in the video;

Some folks run to the fight, some run from the fight. Well done Officer Krissinger!
Nice work. The driver is in stable but critical condition.
I once came upon a similar scene. A car was filled with smoke and smoke was billowing out from under the hood. I grabbed my fire extinguisher, ran up to the car, and found that all four doors were locked. I couldn’t see inside, thanks to the smoke but, with the doors locked, someone must be inside, right? Well, it turns out that the idiot driver had stopped the car when he saw smoke, got out and had locked the doors before walking over to a service station to call the fire dept. Man, was I pissed. I was glad no one was in the car but it was my ass on the line for nothing.
Outstanding job by Officer Krissinger!
I saw this story on Good Morning America before 7:30…the officer was amazing when he says he doesn’t consider himself a hero…these guys never consider themselves heroes even when it’s plain as the sun in the sky they damn sure are just that, real life heroes…
This was very, very impressive by a great example of what to protect and serve means to these officers.
Thank you Officer for reminding us all of that reality.
Very impressive. He did it without even hesitating. Officer Krissinger you are a hero!!!!
Another angel in uniform! 🙂
