Fazel is here
For those of you who don’t Facebook (sometimes I understand why) Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyers posted this picture of him and his interpreter from the day he earned the Medal who was recently given his visa;
From the post on Facebook;
I appreciate everyone’s help. Today had been one of the best days ever being able to see a man who was next to me in the worst day of my life. Fazel is here he got his visa!
For background on the whole story, we wrote about it here.

OUTSTANDING!
Good.
Welcome to the United States! You earned the right to be here!
He just got here and he’s done more for this country than 99.9999999% of our citizens.
He comes to America, you take him to Wal-Mart!
That’s getting him acculturated right from the start.
This is the type of “immigration reform” we need to see. These are guys who earned the right to come to this country unlike those damn border jumpers.
Excellent! If ever there was someone who deserved to be approved it is this guy
Good news! Now, for the rest of those waiting; get ‘er done!
Outstanding! He most certainly earned the right to be here!! It sure doesn’t hurt when an MOH recipient is vouching for your character either!
Having gone through the visa process, I know even the “easiest” cases can be a long slog. It’s great to see Fazel here and a big hand for those that sponsored him and helped in bringing him here. Well done!
F’ing A-we got one right.
Excellent!!
The watermelon doesn’t stand a chance. Congrats to both men!
FANTASTIC News! Looooooooong overdue, and as someone else said above, let’s get the rest of them here who have already given so much for us.
Absolutely wonderful! Welcome, Fazel!
@11, so true. It sure didn’t need to take this long, tho. If Sgt Meyer hadn’t been bringing this to the forefront continuously, I wonder if it ever would have happened. So glad he safe. Well, safer, I guess. Assload of nuts running around lately.
Welcome aboard brother!
A Hearty Welcome and Thank you to Fazel.
BTW, Fazel, there are better stores than Wal-Mart
Great news!
9 – I think he actually had two – Both Dakota Meyer and Will Swenson were vouching for him I heard.
lol
Walmart, watermelons, camo ballcaps, and chips
AMERICA!!!!!!!
Welcome to the USA brother!!
WalMart, the land of plenty indeed. Lol
This makes my weekend!
Welcome to America, Fazel!
Dakota is a fine man and he stands next to another!
BRAVO ZULU Dakota … great fight and a better win!
Welcome sir! If only I can do as much for this country as you have done.
Welcome to your new home. Make this man an American ASAP.
That man has done more for the U.S. then most citizens will ever do in their lives. He deserves every last second of his time in the U.S.
Welcome to our country. We are in good company.
