US is arming the Tar Baby

| July 12, 2013

It’s not like anyone didn’t see this coming; The Washington Times reports that arms from the US are finding their way into the hands of Iranian-backed forces aligned with Syria’s President Assad, you know, the guy we’re trying to remove there;

The Associated Press reported that analysts aren’t sure if the weapons that have reached the pro-Assad fighters were stolen, captured or purchased on the black market, or if they filtered in somehow from Syria, Turkey, Iraq or Libya.

But most are arms the militant fighters “shouldn’t really have their hands on,” said Phillip Smyth, an analyst for Jihadology.net, a website tied to the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, AP reported. He added: Iranians like to demonstrate “they have weapons and systems that are very close to the Americans.”

Of course, the State Department claims that they’re doing their best to insure that the weapons are going to “right” folks over there, so you know, their intentions are better than the results almost guaranteeing that sooner or later, those weapons will be used against Americans at some point in the future.

History is rife with examples of why the State Department shouldn’t be allowed to arm people, but that doesn’t stop them from being involved in the process in this case, providing even more examples. Our window for involvement in Syria has closed.

Is ATF involved with this?? Sure sounds familiar.

State right now can’t even police its own ambassadors and consul generals from molesting under-age children and trafficking sex slaves; does anyone really think they will be able to properly police the transfer of weaponry to various factions in the Middel East?

That is absolutely right. The military if anyone should arm people not the State Dept. And the point is we should not be arming any of those ass wipes with anything but sticks and BFR’s to throw at each other. It has happened before and will again, we will face the weapons we give to anyone in that region. I wish we would stay the hell away from their and let their own people decide if they are willing to have a revolution and take back their country for democracy. We did.

The Saudi’s and UAE are sending billions to Egypt as it is. It’s a regional issue. Perhaps they should pony up a few billions more and help settle matters in Syria as well, and keep the U.S. out of their affairs.

I think State has been out of touch/control since at least Korea, so no surprises here.

Heres the thing They have seen M-16 and M-4 Variants in the Syrian Conflict so far. Well Norico Makes a shabby version of the M-16/M-4 Family that is not authorized by Colt or FN. The Iranians Make a Variant of the old M-16a1, so do we know if we have armed them or is it someone else. But If we start Seeing ACOGs then I think we need to start to worry.

Infringe on American’s rights but then arm Islamists.

I wonder if future history books in our public deviant system aka public schools are just not even going to bother mentioning the Obama administration because it would be too costly to list all of the corruption.
