While I agree with the the idea of a virtual job fair, I disagree with the exorbitant price this organization charges employers for a software that is already built. This is Milicruit recycled for a profit…

Sweet, thanks. I graduate in May. Need to lock something down before then.

@EdUSMCleg – where are you looking to go and what industry are you looking to work in?

TPM

SGT C-Ham, I didn’t know they charged employers, thanks for pointing that out. I am the IT guy for a Vet center and get deluged with this kind of stuff. I try to get rid of the dross and pass on the gold to Jonn and some other folks. This was a very short notice item. I had left the VA to work at a legit non-profit, knowing there would be a hefty pay cut. That being said, I am always looking for legit side work. Whenever I bug the admins here with an announcement or something, I check it out. Since I am not an employer, I had no idea. Good looking out and thanks TAH admins.

Common Sense

UPS just announced that they’re hiring 25,000 vets over the next 5 years.

Coca-Cola is a good company too, especially if you’re Guard or Reserves. They pay you full-time for up to 4 months/year while you’re on orders. My son made it through AF BMT and about half of tech school while getting paid from both Coke and the AF. They also have excellent benefits, including both a pension and a 401K.
