President’s Day feel good story

| February 18, 2013

In a link sent to us by Chief Tango from The Blaze, a father defended his home and family in Prince Edward County, VA yesterday when three men broke down his door. The man managed to kill two of the thugs and the third apparently escaped. From WWBT;

This situation began unfolding at about 4:30 a.m. in the 5000 block of Prince Edward Highway, or Route 460. Investigators told NBC12’s Kelly Avellino three unknown men forced their way in the front door of the home, where a man was alone with a 2-year-old child.

According to a press release issued by Sheriff Wesley W. Reed, that man called 911 to report a home invasion and said the suspects were armed. Reed also said gunfire was exchanged between the suspects and the caller.

Authorities said two suspects were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third managed to escape on foot.

We’re told the homeowner and the child were not harmed.

The trend is continuing that the thugs are roving in packs of 3 or more, yet the politicians want to limit the capacity of our firearms so that we won’t be able to defend ourselves properly.

Ex-PH2

What? Criminals traveling in packs? There is NO such thing!

Can we call them coyotes?

Like Freddie Mercury and Queen said, “Another One Bites the Dust”.

@#1..now that’s funny; I don’t care who you are. Too bad he didn’t terminate the third also.

MCPO NYC USN (Ret.)

@ EX-PH2 … the word “coyotes” may be seen as racially charged and bigotted … after all “coyotes” run and attack in pacts, act lawlessly (outside norms of canine society), often attacks their own, and they ARE animals!

Former3c0

I thought “coyotes” were those “guides” illegal immigrants pay to get them across the desert, and then usually extort them for money once they come across.

ohio

I love a happy ending!

@ 8 Former3co … There you go with that word again ….

Former3c0

Oh yes, didn’t mean to detract from the story. Glad this man was able to defend what was his, and the safety of his child.

So, he called the cops and they were not immediately on the scene to protect this man and his daughter? Wow, but the President said that’s what they were for and that gun’s weren’t the answer.

I’m glad this guy and his child are safe and glad that there are two less criminals in the world.

Yeah, well, everything changes if we later learn he is not Mr. American Middle class Daddy Homeowner. I’ll wait on this one.

@1 indeed, too bad the third wasn’t bodybagged at the scene as well. Now we will have a manhunt, trial, and incarceration expense for someone who clearly doesn’t deserve the third item, a quick neck snap at the end of a rope would be a better outcome.

Home invasions seldom involve a single suspect, limiting high capacity magazine limits your ability to defend yourself from a group of home invaders.

To answer questions about coyotes, here are several types:

1 – western coyote, a small canid, relative of the gray wolf, split off from the wolf line about 30,000 years ago, raids chicken houses, herds of goats, herds of sheep, runs in packs and sings to other pack members; about the size of a medium sized dog

2 – eastern coyote, a larger version of the western coyote, also called the tweed wolf or bush wolf, about the size of a German Shepherd, runs in pairs and packs up to four members; called the tweed wolf because it was discovered near Tweed, Ontario around 1907; thought to be a cross between the red wolf and eastern coyote; may have a reddish coat (I can vouch for this; saw one) but usually the brindle/tan coat is more common; more and more common in northern US and New England; may also be a cross between the Great Lakes gray wolf and the western coyote; able to take down adult deer; will kill and eat small pets like cats and shitsues — sorry, Shih Tzus, and may attack small children; found everywhere (game camera confirmation) in northern Illinois and Wisconsin; maybe moving south; has been heard singing in groups at dusk by fishermen at Sand Lake at IBSP north unit

3 – Extortionists who guide people out of Mexico Lindo into the AZ desert and dump them, demand money from them and leave them to die with no help

4 – Criminals who travel and acts in groups for the sole purpose of committing crimes, e.g., robbery, gang and other murders, rape, hijackings, carjackings, rail cargo transport theft

That should cover it for now.

@ 2 EX-PH2 …. forgive me, thanks for clearing that ALL up!

When seconds count, the police are only minutes away….

So several more field agents from Obama’s “Department of Wealth Redistribution”(DoWR), failed to secure the personal effects of a good taxpaying citizen for redistribution to pawn shops and fences residing in nearby or further away urban settings. I like that “Two out of three ain’t bad” Hondo. Hehehe…..Here’s hoping number is laid up somewhere with GSW and leaking his hazardous bodily fluids all over the place.

should be a “3” in there…after number, erf!
