Ike Densmore; liar to the end

| January 30, 2013

We talked the other day about Ike Densmore, the phony busted by our buddy Don Shipley. Densmore was found expired on a California beach, and I guess the police suspected suicide, according to the Willits News;

His whole life, the last 18 to 20 years, was basically a deception and he carried that through to his death,” [Sheriff’s Office Lt. Steve] Knight said.

When investigators had initially reached the Centerville Beach scene, they thought the death could have been self-inflicted — they found a shotgun nearby to his body, Knight said, and other factors that pointed to a suicide.

”But they didn’t want to rule out a homicide,” he said, because Densmore had apparently left other “unusual” items around the scene that made the investigation less than clear cut. Knight said investigators believe the items were likely laid out to mislead them. He would not say exactly what those items were.

While we grieve for the family Ike left behind, we’re still secure in our decision to bust him out. As I said before, he made the decision to be a phony and he made the decision to abandon his family so he could avoid the consequences of the other choices he had made.

The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Stolen Valor Act has left the military community little recourse but the one we’ve chosen – that being the village square of the internet with our stocks and dunking chairs for public ridicule.

That’s a tough way out of making things right, especially after 18-20 years of lying about it.

In the end, he’s facing the ultimate judgement.

Could not even take responsibility for his own death.

Words fail me.

I bet one of those items was a photograph of Don Shipley and his amazing hair.

Frankly Opinionated

When that liberal newsperson comes here to claim that the TAH commenter who contacted densmore’s friends has any part in his death, tell them that I am not culpable, that he did this of his own volition just as he lied on his own. This was his charade and he is the only one responsible for his death.
I haven’t lost any sleep since hearing of his “date on the beach”.
Oops, correction to that last- I was kept awake for a bit last night listening to my dog howl in unison with the local coyotes.

Dirt Dart

a six of Sam Adams says he tried to blame Don Shipley for his death.

Keep calling the fakes out Don!

A Proud Infidel

I discovered this site just last week after searching “phony Veterans” on the net and watching some of Chief Shipley’s videos. One thing ‘ol Chief says in many of them as well as his news media interviews is that these posers “..will take their lies to their graves with them.” and poser Densmore is clearcut proof of that!

I’ll bet the police won’t say that this guy tried to make the scene look like a murder – but failed at that too.

Seriously, this is extremely sad. This is someone who could have had a very productive and rewarding life if he had tried to do so, but instead, he went off into the wild blue yonder with this claptrap he created. In the end, it caught up with him, and he couldn’t deal with the truth like an adult.

Look, karma is a bitch. Pull crap and you’ll get crap back. Be a good person, and you get good back.

Just because no one is yelling “Make way” ahead of you doesn’t mean you’re nobody.

Sad Sad Sad

I worked with Ike for many years. His web of lies included that he desinged the missle launch rails on the F18, was one of the SEAL’s who used a payphone in the Grenada Op, and he often showed scars and marks on his neck that he claimed were chemical burns. We all sort of knew he was FOS. I am sad for his family but agree with many of the posts here that Don Shipley was spot on for calling him out. Sad ending to a life that was a lie.
