Code Pink at the National Gun Show
Pat emailed and offered to pick me up some stuff at the National Gun Show in Chantilly, VA, but I’m good. So I asked him if he could get some pictures of the Code Pink hags if he could and he sent us these;
It looks like about 20 people made it out between VFP, MoveOn and Code Pink. Pat says that they’re across the street from the Expo and they have police protection, like they need it.
But, according to Pat, the protesters haven’t hindered participation. There was no available parking near the Expo Center. I’m sure there are going to be a bunch of smiling vendors at the end of the weekend.
Pat sends a link to a picture of the crowd at the gates. The protesters seem outnumbered.
Gun Show Loophole is a lie. All VENDORS in the Gun Show have to do a NICS Check. Private sale of NON REGULATED firearms between 2 private citizens does not require a NICS check, whether that is at a gun show or in a driveway or at the kitchen table. Does every private sale of an automobile require a records check to make sure you are not selling to an alcoholic? Does said seller of the car get blamed if the buyer uses it to commit a crime? Emotional Reaction with no Rational Thought.

@1, Chris, there is no rational thought from those people. Between chants of close the loophole was ‘stop killing our kids’. Really, whatever. Bottom line is that leftist extremists like them are the reason gun sales are through the roof, prices are up, and some items are back order only.
Their only reason for being at the show was publicity, but I didn’t see any major news outlets. They did steal a few parking spots that shoppers with cash could have taken.

Interesting. Sooo . . . did Nguyen really give the weapons to Spengler, or were they really stolen. No time line given in the “news” story about when she bought the weapons. And what would be the possible connection between those two? Nguyen (24 y.o.) & Spengler (62 y.o.).
I don’t know who to trust less. The woman, or the authoritahs (po-po, DA, BATFEces). Time will tell, but I can guar-an-damn-tee you this, you’ll NEVER gonna hear the full straight story from the LSDM (Lame Stream Dinosaur Media).
Glad to see the Boy Scouts were present. Looks like they were selling hot chocolate to the crowd.
Code Stink would have been better off spinning pizza joint signs to pay for their gas money. Wasted Trip.
Code Pink et al. actually started out in front of the Expo center. Fairfax County PD got called in by the property owner who requested they be removed from his private property. Protesters were then moved to the sidewalk by Willard Rd.

Code Pink: “Free to stand here with us, freeze your butt off, look silly, and accomplish nothing.”
I was there! They had toy guns with them painted pink and one bull horn to yell at everyone with. When they first got there they stood right outside the doors to get in so all the patrons of the show could be entertained. It was cute. When I left there was an anti-protest protester there with a sign that said “san francisco liberal…with a gun” standing out there.
@1: Exactly. Every gun show I have been to, if someone was buying a firearm, they went through the paperwork and the background check, just as if they were at a gun shop. Private sellers were using the FFLs to do the same thing, before they would sell the weapon. There weren’t but a few private sellers to begin with and they were only selling one or two anyway.
Bye, Bye Dicks sporting goods, your stuff is too expensive anyway and besides your new pink clientele will pick more of your stuff (knives, pepper spray, ozone depleting tent water proofing spray etc. to protest against until your selling diapers and feminine sanitary items.

I was at the show on Saturday and the line to get in was HUGE. Went from the front of the building, around the side all the way to the back of the building. Incredible. And Code Pink must not have shown up cause I didn’t see a one.
