Armed man protects slumber party

| December 24, 2012

Yep, here’s one that won’t be widely covered by the media; a man in Sacramento, CA shot three home invaders who sought to injure or kill a houseful of children at a slumber party. One of those invaders was killed the other two sent to the hospital along with the shooter and none of the children were injured. One other man was arrested as an accessory after the fact.

The incident happened at 3:30 a.m. in the Pocket neighborhood.

Investigators said during the course of the robbery, gunfire was exchanged and total of four people were shot.

Police confirmed one man, who was an intruder, died at the scene; three others were transported to the hospital and are expected to be OK.

At this time, Sacramento police will not release the identity of the shooter or victims.

Several frantic parents showed up to the crime scene to find the street shut down for the investigation.

One man who did not want to be identified said his 12-year-old had spent the night at the house and was there when the shooting took place.

What was that I heard the other day? “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”

No, it won’t be covered much at all but the developing story out of NY involving a fire and shot firemen will be. I can’t help but wonder whether these murderous incidents aren’t the left’s idea of a dream come true. Here we go again.

i live in sacramento, and they have hardly covered this at all. we have heard very little about it, and no station that i watch regularly even called it a home invasion at first.

Sandy Hook has been turned from a tragedy into an agenda. Nothing counter to the expected political outcome will get airtime. Period.

What we are seeing is our nation being burned down around our ears.

I just wonder if that house fire was deliberately set.

I saw that story as breaking news this morning, and I wondered why anyone would shoot at firefigters.

@4

I had the exact same thought this AM.

Sweet. One less goblin to worry about.

The update on the story on the house fire is that the man who shot the firefighters is dead and that it was a trap.

We(2nd amendment supporters) should start our own news channel or channel period. Maybe then we could get non biased news reported. Cause you know that it won’t happen otherwise.

Ex-PH2

Well, it looks like Piers Morgan is getting a lot of backlash for his views on gun control. People want him deported.

I expect that will get about the same amount of response as all the secession petitions did.

Chalk up one for the “good guys”.

I have no doubt these types of things occur often but since it isn’t part of the libtard elite agenda they just flat out refuse to report them. It’s better if they don’t report them because they’ve been caught blatantly lying about the new for decades and some times people hold them accountable.

I don’t even want to think about the horrors that were possible if there hadn’t been an armed response to these thugs. I have read reports of what has happened during home invasions where the resident wasn’t armed and it makes your skin crawl (I won’t go into detail, because even though what happened was reported, it’s not something that needs repeating).

The day I decided to become an armed American was when a friend of mine, working at a convenience store that I frequented daily, was confronted with an armed robber, one Saturday morning, at about the time I usually was in there. This was in a rural area. Yes, they caught the 2 guys responsible (they were, also, the lead suspects in another armed robbery in another town and several home invasions. Real upstanding citizens), but I was angry. Angry that she could have become another statistic where everyone says “awe, that’s a shame”, but then go along with their merry lives, thinking that something like this could never happen to them. Well, it can and will. She would have left behind a husband and 3 kids. What people don’t understand is that when you’re on the business end of a gun, you are at the mercy of the person on the other end, just like a government in that position, where the populace is disarmed. I made up my mind that I would not be in that position and I will not be a victim. If that makes me a gun nut, then so be it. Yeah, I have been shot and I have been stabbed, but I had convinced myself that it was a fluke. As I have gotten older, I realize that I was being a bit naive, since those things happened in my youth I hadn’t really thought about it. I do now. Thank God that this man was armed and protected all those in his care.

Amen to the father. I wish he was a better shot. They had it coming. Only good guys with guns can stop a bad guy with guns.
