I enjoy reading these idiots talking about how a 2.3% tax isn’t “onerous” on manufacturers….perhaps they don’t understand gross profit margin versus net profits, the former is often mistaken for the latter….when your net profit on a commodity item is 5% a new 2.3% tax on product could reduce your net by 20-30% depending on cost of goods to manufacture.
