al Qaeda in Iraq threatens US
Now, first let me state that I don’t think it’s really all that probable or possible that those goat ropers in Iraq can touch the US, well, unless they’re able to perfect their long-range donkey-mounted missile launchers sooner than expected, but there is some evidence that they have some tentacles that reach here. But, al Qaeda in Iraq has threatened the continental US according to Stars & Stripes;
On Sunday, the day before the latest wave of attacks, al-Qaida in Iraq released an audio recording to mark the beginning of the Ramadan fast. The message announced a new campaign of violence against the Iraqi government, praised Syria’s uprising and made a call for new recruits to join the group. It also spoke directly to Americans.
“You will soon witness how attacks will resound in the heart of your land, because our war with you has now started,” said a man that identified himself as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the pseudonym used by the head of al-Qaida in Iraq.
According to the article, there were two Iraqis arrested last year for trying to send weapons to AQI so it seems that some of their friends are already here. Probably not the bravest or smartest, but friends nonetheless.
Because a blind squirrel can find a nut occasionally, one of these spastic bearded retards may get lucky some day. Then can we say that we fought them over there so we wouldn’t have to fight them here? Just wondering.

“because our war with you has now started”, uh started now? What about 9/11 and several other little incidences? You guys have been declaring war on us for 20 years. Oh by the way Mr. AQ in iraq and other climes, once we sort out some things here we’ll be back looking you up, count on it.
james: Actually, it’s been just short of 16 years. Al Qaeda formally declared war on the US in August 1996.

You know something…we have been very cruel to those folks.
Anybody that begs to be put out of their misery that pitifully should be cheerfully assisted.
I vote for nuking them. What say ye?
“Then can we say that we fought them over there so we wouldn’t have to fight them here? Just wondering.” ***Listens*** Nope, I’m not hearing gunfire or Al-Qaeda perpetrated explosions on US soil. Nor did we experience what was supposed to be a series of brutal terrorist attacks on US soil that was meant to destroy our economy, and put us in a position to where we would have to economically, politically, and militarily pull out of the world. I know propaganda when I see it. That retard claiming that they will be fighting us here is doing nothing but engaging in propaganda. My unit was among the last combat units in Iraq; we left prior to the operation getting a name change. There’s a world of difference between what’s being reported in the news, and what’s actually going on in Iraq. The Iraqis that we worked with cleaned the clocks out of the terrorists that tried to fight them. Said “insurgents” were experts at running the other direction when they heard that we, and our Iraqi allies, were coming in. In fact, the BS meter from the AIF went up around Ramadan time. The Iraq War, Afghanistan War, our involvement behind the scenes in the PI, as well as our parallel efforts in the civilian side, here and abroad, are but a scratch in the surface of the true nature of this war. This war has obvious, and not so obvious parts. It has visible, and not so visible, parts. It has threats that we could see as threats, and threats that we wouldn’t see, or even imagine. This is unrestricted/asymmetrical warfare. It’s not your father’s war. We have to see this from an Asian, not an American, perspective. James and Hondo bring up a valid point. Al-Qaeda declared war on us in the ’90s. But that’s Al-Qaeda. The “entity” that wants to eradicate us, has been around for centuries. The radical elements of this “entity” want to eradicate western, and non Muslim culture, and replace it with one that they envision… they want to complete their “manifest destiny”… Read more »
Bambi’s scaring the 72 virgins out of evil doers with all those drone strikes. Capture and interrogate? F*ck that – just blast’em all – shoot first, ask questions later. Ironic isn’t it? POTUS BO, the Nobel Peace Prize recipient is a stone cold killer. Al Qaeda probably thought that Bush was supposed to be Dr. Evil – not BO.
Re: #2 Sorry, but when you’ve been threaten in announcements seemingly continously I tend to lose track of time.
The liberals in academia here in the great NW love our Muslim brothers and sisters.
They honestly do not know what they did wrong…
More victims of American aggression, capitolism, corporations, nation building, etc.
It gets old. Especially when none of them fought. They believe that the Twin Towers were the work of terrorists but the Pentagon was an inside job. No shit. From people that hold PhD’s…
Gotta love it here!
I say we take off and nuke them from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
C’mon, guys & girls, they’ve been bullying people like the cowards they are for centuries. Their latest victims are the Tuareg and Mali tribes in Mali. Erin Burnett has been over there interviewing the refugees of the Al-Qaeda attacks on Timbuktu, an ancient city with a huge Muslim cemetery. Those slimy AQ toons have no respect for anything. One of the tribal leaders Ms. Burnett talked to said that the Al-Qaeda “…” (my input obscene) want the northern part of Mali because it’s their only way to get themselves a country. OK, let them have a little spot in the sand somewhere, build a very high wall around that spot that they can’t climb over or dig under or tunnel through.
I think that calling them pigs is an insult to pigs.
What’s sad is that if and when they do attack it’ll be some soft target full of civilians, which they’ll tout as a victory.
If the UN and the gun control nuts get their way in disarming us, al Qaeda will be able to just walk around freely in the US doing whatever they want to us.
I will not obey the UN. They can kiss my…well, no they can’t.
And the gun control folks have to get my guns before they can control me. It’s that simple. And that might prove difficult to do, or at the very least — messy.
