The Men of War Motorcycle Club

| June 10, 2012

The folks at the Men of War Motorcycle Club, veterans all, wanted me to let you know about them. They sent this video;

And they sent this picture of some of the good works they do;

That was the saluting Marine at Thunder Run this year getting aid and comfort from his brother veterans from that motorcycle club. If you’re interested, you can find out more about them at this link.

I’ve heard great things about MoW MC.

Quite a few great Veteran oriented motorcycle events in Virginia. There is a Charity Poker Run in a couple of weeks: http://www.cyclefish.com/event/16950/

Proceeds go to Hope for the Warriors: http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org/

It is nice that Veterans help current and retired.

There are many valid non-profit groups around the country doing things for vets. I’m very glad to see some positive stuff showing up here.

MWMC

Much love to TAH. MWMC is a law abiding non 1%’er MC, and does not recruit. We support all veterans. Although not a requirement, most of our members are NSW, SF, EOD, RECON, and combat arms. Learn more at; http://www.menofwarmc.com. We detest stolen valor, and wish to provide aid and comfort to ailing US military veterans, end of story. THANK YOU TAH.

Pfft. Canada. Like they’ve ever had a decent military or needed to use it.

SFC Holland

@7 Whaaa???

Steve

@Waldo … pfft Canada, eh?! And what are basing those comments? That WW1 started for us in 1914, that WW2 for us started in 1939, that 2Bn PPCLI covered the retreat of the US 3rd Army at Kapyong in Korea? I’ve had the good fortune of working with my US counterparts in the field and rest assured there is nothing but mutual respect between the soldiers of both countries.

I banged it up with some Canadians in what I would call “Some what hostile conditions”. Let me tell you this shit right now. SOLID fucking operators and ANYONE who says otherwise has ZERO fucking clue what they are talking about.

William Freeman

Sorry to infiltrate the thread but that comment about Canadians pissed me off.

Kinda old ET1

No worries.
The jackwagon knows not of what he speaks.
Truth tellers are always welcome here.

Waldo….. Have you ever served with the Canadians in Helmand Province Afghanistan? I have and they’re a great group of soldiers and some solid grunts.

ByrdMan

I served on a security team with some Canadians in Afghanistan (Kandahar Airfield). Cool dudes.

chet

Have you served at all

Yeah, I have to chime in on this as well. One of the best instructors I had in EBOLC was a Canadian Engineer Captain. Top notch Soldier and really knew his stuff.

The Men of War MC fell apart under its current leadership. It had the potential to do great things and become one of the better MC in the Veteran community. Also, how are you going to call yourself Men of War when you have people in your ranks that never forward deployed?

Green Thumb

Really?
