“Rush”ing to Judgement

| April 24, 2012

We’ve talked about The Nuge and the fallout from his intemperate, if accurate, words.

The reaction is heading towards that offered to Rush Limbaugh.

This bit might have been more of the same and it offers pix of the complainers. Sorry Charley Longo. Some folks in Maine may take you seriously, but…

Waterfront Concerts promoter Alex Gray said Sunday that he doesn’t plan to call off Ted Nugent’s Bangor performance despite remarks from two city councilors that the controversial rock star shouldn’t be allowed to play in the city.

ETA: Lest anyone be confused. I’ve been wrestling with the formatting for a while. Sorry.

Is anyone else amused at the irony here. Bush was hitler and he ought to have been killed and that’s ok. The Nuge says something metaphorical and all hell breaks loose

Holy Crap .. that is not a man. You have to see his/it’s web site. He should change his name to Charlette as that would be more appropriate for someone who clearly has a serious case of “pantiesinabunchitis.”

@1 – I’m amused at how BDS morphed into ODS.

Bangor shouldn’t force the promoter to cancel…..this isn’t the same as a venue on a military installation.

To Doc Bailey:

Of course; you are correct.
I was going to post something stronger, but . . .

So Chaz Bono is now a city councilman in Bangor, ME after the successful addadictomy operation?

Hey….. I have to live in Maine with these numbnuts. Fortunately, we’re slowly taking back the state. For the first time since, I believe, WWII, Maine’s governor and both houses of the legislature are controlled by the GOP. That’s been causing all sorts of leftist heads to explode, and this little episode Zero points out is typical of them.

The governor and the legislature decide to overhaul the welfare system that’s been the delight of every meth head in the nation and suddenly it’s the “fascists in Augusta ramming through bills without any compromise”. Heh….. Now that THEY are on the other side of the fence it’s a whole different ball game.

Maine’s economy has been broken for decades under leftist governance, bleeding jobs and money as fast as California. It’s hopeful that that can be stopped and the tend reversed, but we’re not holding our breath.

If I can scrape up the funds, I’m out of here too, only because I’m not certain Maine CAN be saved. But if I’m stuck here, I’m damned sure not going down without a fight.
