Holiday miracles
Two real life Christmas tales that will warm your hearts. First, from UpNorth the story of a store clerk who could;
Before he could run off with any cash, the clerk at the We Buy Gold store in Hendersonville punched him in the nose on Friday. Sgt. Dale Patton with the Hendersonville Police Department tells the Times-News of Hendersonville that 25-year-old Mostafa Kamel Hendi dropped to the floor.
See what I mean? It brings tears to your eyes, doesn’t it? Well, get the hankies, cuz this next one, from TSO who says it happened where he and his child-bride shop, will have you bawling with elation;
“The suspect then forced the victim to the office area, where he encountered a second employee who fired a weapon at him, striking him in the face,” Indianapolis police Sgt. Linda Jackson said.
Atkinson was taken to St. Vincent Hospital, where he later died.
I know, take a few breaths to recover from the Christmas miracle joy. Oh, and the late Mr. Atkinson was a repeat offender;
Atkinson was released from prison in October 2010 after an armed robbery conviction. He also had a prior conviction on a charge of possession of a handgun without a license.
Some people just need to be shot in the face and luckily there was someone in Indianapolis willing to help Mr. Atkinson in that regard.
Sheep, Sheepdogs, Wolves.
Not really a miracle at that. I love it mind you, I just suspect that it was a sort of reality check?
And here I thought that, “Just shoot me in the face” was only an expression.
I love happy endings…
Before everyone gets too happy, wait for the law suits! The scum bag’s family could care less what said scum bag did, all they see is a large settlement check! I know, the citizens of Maricopa county, Az have been paying scum bag’s families for years! Loser families have placed the price of their scum bag at everything from $375,000 to $5.5 mil (I think).
YY1833 #3: You do have a point, sadly. Another nail in some coffin?
Unfortunately not that happy, as it looks like this dude might lose his job. Hope to have a post on it tomorrow, once I hear more info.
Damn, I feel a ton better after reading those stories again. Sometimes there is justice!!!
There are not very many folks who can put one round in the Brain Housing Group under stress like that. Isn’t there some kind of shooting award we can send him?
The clerk in Hendersonville is now being investigated by the DOJ for violating the muslim’s civil rights and not extending the administration’s “Outreach” to the oppressed moderate islamist.
Jonn, you missed the most miraculous part of the story of the gentleman in Hendersonville:
While they waited for police and paramedics, Mothershead gave Hendi a roll of power towels, sprayed the floor with cleaner and told him to clean up his own blood.
Link.
So not only did he thwart the would-be robber, he made him clean up that little part of town. *sniff* I’m misty eyed from it.
And Streetsweeper offered me this link for my first read as I drink my Cuban Coffee: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2079107/Marine-Karl-Trenker-shot-Craigslist-sale-turned-heist-plugged-holes-fingers-told-kids-hed-fine.html#ixzz1hn5Nt1aE
He didn’t have the opportunity to shoot back, but he did plug his own bullet holes, and the shooters got found right away.
The company I work for has a “No Guns Allowed” policy so we adapt, make-do and overcome. As for these two sons a biotches, I’m with NR Pax, no pity for them what so ever.
So maybe cost of the bullets is, say, $4.00? Cost of keeping POS locked up after trial and cost of trialis maybe $8 million? WOW! seems like great cost cutting going on at Kroger!
One more thing. If the employee is in fact sued, which I’m sure what is going to happen, sue the family of the deceased POS for the cost of his bullets!
