Rush Limbaugh’s Ron Paul ad

| December 19, 2011

I haven’t listened to Rush for years now (no time), but this is pretty funny as well as accurate. I got it at Mediaite.

Yes, Paulians won’t like the ad, but it pretty much sums up what Paul has said his policy towards Iran would be if he were president. A vote for Ron Paul is just like voting for Adam Kokesh or Gordon Duff. And Ron Paul has a Code Pink endorsement.

The pig squeal is spot on.

Frankly Opinionated

Humor yes, but not far off the mark.
Thanks Jonn.

It’d be funnier if it weren’t so scary–a vote for Paul is a vote for a nuclear-armed Iran. And I dare any of you Ronulans to tell me how that would be a good thing.

Casey J Porter

I am no Ron Paul fanboy but I do respect the constancy of his message. As far as Iran goes at this point I’ve lost any faith in any political party to tell anything close to the truth.

Ben

Oh, the Ronulans are going to throw a fit over this one.

Rush is a NEO-CON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s pretty much their comeback to everything. I guess Neo-Con must be a compliment because it’s a description that fits anyone who doesn’t like the idea of a nuclear-armed Iran. If you don’t like Mullahs with nukes, you’re a Neo-Con.

OWB

Now that’s a funny clip.

Ron Paul wants us back on the gold standard. As I heard one pundit say today, ‘That’s great. Let the economy depend on some miners in South Africa.’

It bothers me that Paul can garner more support than Jim Jones did for a one-way trip to Belize. Then I remember how large the isolationist movement was heading into WW II and that we even had home grown pro-fascists and pro-Nazi groups here. And decades before that that we the popular socialist Eugene Debs. What I’m trying to get at is that we have been pretty screwy for a long time but the heart and soul of America knows what is good and true, despite the many who do stupid things and support stupid clowns like Ron Paul. (There, that ought to draw one or two.)

Brian

@#7: Paul is not a isolationist, he is a non-interventionist.

As far as the nukes, show us the proof? Otherwise, war hawks and the media are just beating the drums for war. Would you like for us to go into another war on false pretexts (e.g. Iraq)?

Casey J Porter

I agree on the proof thing, show it. But most people don’t want proof, they want to be told that their side is right and that everything is going to be ok if you X, Y, and Z.

I also think any political party today needs to shut it when they complain about “big government”. Everyone seems to want big government, they just don’t want everyone to have it. When I hear Ron Paul speak, one of thoughts that come to mind right away is that everyone would have to sacrifice, and no one wants to do that in this day and age.

No matter what your stance is, Americans wanted the wars in A-Stan and Iraq, but still less than 1% signed up. So many run their mouth about sacrifice, but so few follow through.

OWB

Let’s see. Imagoofysucker proclaims that he wants to nuke his neighbors (our ally), has all the raw ingredients to do so, the scientists to make it happen, the facilities for it, and has had plenty of time to develop it all. Hmmm. Nope, no reason to believe that a meglomaniac with the will, the opportunity and the means to carry out a nuclear threat should be taken seriously.

Unless you are a sane human being.

It bothers me that Paul can garner more support than Jim Jones did for a one-way trip to Belize.

Stolen after I correct the location. Jones and his followers went to Guyana, not Belize.

OWB

From here, they are about equally convenient to get to, Sparky!

NHSparky

OWB…I hear ya. Not a lot of people can even afford a trip around the block in this Oconomy.

5#”Rush is a NEO-CON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s pretty much their comeback to everything.” I’ve been making that same point fo years.

8# That didn’t take long.
