Yeah, go act a fool in Egypt

| November 22, 2011

Three American students thought it would be a good idea to mess with Egyptian security forces by tossing Molotov cocktails at them and now they’re discovering that there are real consequences for their actions when they jerk around in a foreign country;

The students are accused of setting off molotov cocktails and clashing with police in Tahrir Square, where anti-government protesters are gathering in response to calls for a “million-man march.”

American University President Lisa Anderson said the university is working closely with the U.S. embassy to get the young men released.

What? No pepper spray? No warning?

The only time I’ve ever spent in jail was in another country and let me tell you, American jail is like a resort compared to the way other countries treat people suspected of crimes. These three shit-for-brains are about to find out how tough it is.

UC Davis should take notes.

On Twitter, Gates wrote often of his experiences in Tahrir Square, and said he wanted to die in Egypt

It’s a Christmas miracle! He may get exactly what he wished for, but being hung from a crane isn’t as glamorous as it might sound. But, it probaby better than living in Egyptian prison conditions for a decade or so.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Doc Bailey

People will learn real quick that acting the fool has pretty nasty consequences in foreign countries.

Beretverde

They can “fight” in another country and be cool. A highlight of their pathetic lives. The Ranger Battalions are still hiring. In fact, on Ranger was killed recently on his 14th deployment. Fuck these motherfuckers.

This calls for quick and decisive action against the Egyptian Government by our own Government. Notice should be given that if Egypt decides to let these shit-for-brain douchebags loose, we will round up and send the OWS douchebags over to Egypt.

And Luke Gates, one of the “Students” listed Al-Jazeera in English and WikiLeaks as his interests on his page? Stay there, and say hi to Bubba’s cousin, Achmed, for us.

I hope any effort by the AMEMBASSY, DOS, Jimmy Carter, Jesse Jackson and other assorted idiots fails to obtain their release.

Let them be tried, convicted and do the time…in an Egyptian fudge packing academy.

PS: The three nimrods who finally got sprung from Iran, and those assorted religious kooks who keep walking into North Korea…same deal.

As much as I may dislike any of those countries and their governments…it’s THEIR country, THEIR rules.

Period.

CI Roller Dude

Wow…they’re about as retarded as those idiots who decided to go to hike in Iraq…on the border with Iran. Total retarded dumbass dipshits.

opps, my feelings slipped out…I guess I can do that now I’ve retired.

What is really amazing is that if they were here, they would be heros of the occuy movement, however, since they are on foreign soil, they are too stupid to figure out they don’t have the same “rights” there as they do here. As was said earlier; here a little pepper spray, there a little AK spray.

As Sgt. Stryker, USMC says “life is tough, it’s tougher if you’re stupid.”

Release? Why? They threw Molitov Cocktails around and were breaking the law. What do you think was going to happen. Didn’t they watch Midnight Run? They get what they deserve and the consequences should be shown all over the US as a warning. Obey the law in the third world or it won’t end well. I bet the Islamist Fascists in prison are going to love those 3…

jonp. They thought that with the crowds and mayhem, they would get away with it. They may also have mistaken Egypt for UC Davis or an OWS site. Whatever. They are all over 18 and in the shit deep now. If they were students, why weren’t they in school? When did the Turkey Break begin in colleges? Not that I care. Jus wonderin’.

Hey Egypt? Fry ’em….No sympathy from me.

Dear Ambassador Shouky,

Regarding the recent arrests of three American males in Takhir, I would like you to know that the consensus of opinion at Jonn Lilyea’s military blog, This Ain’t Hell But You can See It From Here, is that your country can keep the bastards, whether they are guilty or not.

Yours truly,

Priceless my man, priceless!!!

@13: I have to agree with TD, that is the winner in this thread!

Redacted1775

Just saw those little turds on TV. They look scared shitless!!!

2-17 AirCav

Yeah, it’s all just fun and games until you get carted away by police in a foreign country, embarrass your family, and become the object of scorn and derision. Then it’s “Mommmmmmmyyyy!!!!”

Doc Bailey

and that is how they SHOULD look when they did wrong.

CI

Unfortunately, none of the parents being feted on the news has the stones to say their precious baby boy was nothing short of a dumbass.

2-17 AirCav

Okay, CI, strike the “embarrassing your family” potrtion of my comment. I can’t watch the news–unless there is live coverage of a truly important or serious event. I think the last time for me was September 11, 2001.

Derik Sweeney’s mom was quoted thusly, ““I don’t think he would ever do anything to inflict harm on another person. He’s a firm believer in peace in every aspect,” Joy Sweeney said”. Yeah, nothing says peaceful like a molotov cocktail thrown from the roof of a building.
Like CI said, their parents are in denial, and that IS a river in Egypt.

That dingbat is lucky her son didn’t get shot in the face….several times.
